Me and my friend are gonna do DDR for an English project here in alil while. She's ACTUALLY letting us! Half of it, i think, is the point that she doesn't know what it is actually. Lol. So, yeah. Since we can already do all the difficulties...we decided to make up alil routine of some sort to do for it. We're takin Twilight Zone on heavy and all the parts that you can do circles and go backwards and stuff...we're doin it. Also, right before it goes into the part where it's kinda slow for like 3 seconds...yeah...right before that part...we're switchin pads. It's gonna take some work. But we've printed out the step chart and we do the moves in class all the time. Lol. It's gonna be fun! |

That's what I'm wondering.
No, I've never played DDR at school.[/quote]
it means someone is desperate for attention, likes to play DDR a lot, or too much.
i wish i could play it though, but too much of a hassle. risking my ps2, gettin sweaty for the day wen i dont haveta.
i could bring it for a class party..

I've never had anyone call me gay for playing DDR. They said it looks gay, but no one actually thinks you're gay. I played DDR in school (well kind of) twice, by running off to DDR machines during field trips. I think the excitement is not only due to showing off to other people, but a sense that you're getting around the rules. |

Man i wish my 1sgt would let us do DDR for PT. but right now we only do the "traditional" PT. o well.
No, ive never played it in school. unless you count when i was homeschooled and would play it all day. |
two quesitions. one, where do you go to school, and two, what kind of ROTC is it?
Traditional PT sux. We have to do it for the AS-1s. |
I got to Sparkman High. its in north alabama, near Huntsville. We have AJROTC. BTW (if you are in JROTC) are you on the Drill team? if so PM me a list of the Comps you are going to.
ok, on topic. I think that just the reason people want ot play DDR is not so much to just plain show off. its to let people know that you can do something that only like 5 people in your school can do and that you are the best at it. ( or something like that.) but i dont like show offs that much. so i could care less if i got to play DDR in school. that is, unless, it replaced traditional PT. then i would be all for it. _________________

We have a fairly strong ddr following at my school. Every two months when we have an assembly someone brings a couple pads. It's a good way to kill time, and not really considered "gay". One of our dances last year was ddr themed. Everyone loved it and we got, like, half of St. Peters to start playing that night. |

I run the DDR club at my school every Tuesday and Thursday morning before school. We get a really good turnout of both players and watchers, usually, so it's awesome. _________________

My high school had a DDR club last year. It would be up to my friends to start it up again.. but so lazy... We just set it up in the cafeteria and played it against the wall with a projector. _________________
