What arrow do you think is the most stepped on? The least stepped on?
I think the most stepped on is Right (Max 300, lots of other songs) And the least is the up arrow (Sakura Heavy doesn't have the up arrows till like 45 secs into the song).
what do you think? _________________

Most people have the down arrow break first on a DDR pad. Up arrow last. So I think that's how it goes. _________________

I think it goes in the order of most stepped to least...

In terms of wear-and-tear (which really isn't the question at all but i'm going on it anyway) the up arrow catches mostly toe and the down mostly heel. The left and right are split between heel and toe. I'd figure more heel on that down arrow is gonna cause it to break first. Then a left or right.
Which one is hit the most? Yeah, that is kinda a dumb question... and I really have no idea. Someone with no life could tally up the step charts if they want.... screw it, I'm going to bed. |

in my experience, its always the right arrow that breaks first. IMO its because of those newbs that stomp on the pad, and they have stronger right legs..
but i do agree with vengabandit in saying that: because the down arrow is usually hit with the heel, it breaks faster. |

I'd say the down arrow is the most abused (new players tend to wanna stomp the arrow to no end), but the right, in my opinion, is used the most _________________

Down gets the most weight, but I see a surprising number of up arrows broken or worse off than other arrows on a lot of machines. |

If someone with no life really wanted to do this statistically they'd have to tally each and every song by difficulty then examine a few hundred players' games over 20 sets for the songs which are most played and then you could extrapolate that in 80 or 90% of the population, x arrow is used the most blah blah blah.
And don't forget that pads can break for other reasons like bad folding jobs but if I had to say:
Left, Right, Down, Up. (left most) but that's because I'm left footed (ie kick left foot)
Example: If you only played LOVE THIS FEELIN' (or whatever it's called) on Light and no other song (no shuffle or any other arrow modding mod), then UP would die very fast on your pad. _________________
