I've only posted a few times, mostly because i'm still not doing a lot of stuff that i can ask about (freestyling tips, AAA songs, ya know

).

Anyway, my real name is Ron, and yes, i do have a mullet; i wouldn't have gone by DDR_mulletman if i didn't

I've been playing DDR for about 6 months, but i'm already up to standard songs, and some heavy stuff (for a white guy who can't dance, i think that's pretty good

). I play DDR to try and improve my coordination, cause right now i can literallly trip over my own two feet (falling from 6'1" ain't fun, lemme tell ya

).

Looking forward to Extreme 2, but i really wish there was a home version with all of Extreme's songs (the arcade version i mean). And i know i could import, but that's too much of a hassle for me

.

Anyway, you'll get there - I'm just breaking through into 9s right now (I'll probably drop the list from my sig when it's less meaningful to me, but for now I'm damned proud I'm starting to get 'em) and, given my break, I'm not too much more experienced than you.

For me, it was mostly about not having to think to read. I don't have to process so much anymore "This arrow pattern means I need to do a crossover", my feet see the group, not the arrows, and just do it. After I got that, 6s and 7s started to fall pretty easily (as in first time through) and 8s were playable.

Still don't have that for turns or gallops, though - that's my next project. That and stamina - you'll need that for the really heavy ones, trust me.

Hi everybody, I'm loveshine56! My real name is Alisa, but lots of people mispronounce my name as "Alyssa" when it's really "A-Lee-sah", so my nickname is "Alister"!!! I've been playing DDR for 11 months and 2 days. I play mostly Standard, but can do a few songs on Heavy. I have one AAA but I don't really think it counts because it's on Beginners mode. Anyways, besides playing DDR and ITG, I like to eat, watch all kinds of anime, and write fanfiction. My favorite songs right now are "BumbleBee" and "Hero". That's about all you need to know about me. Oh, yeah, and I'm 14 years old and will be 15 next month!

Heylo! Most people call me Michi and I live in San Francisco. I'm okay for someone who doesn't play that often, I guess...

I'm quite fond of the VP at the SF machines. I've been playing DDR on and off ever since my friend introduced me to it in January of '05 [he quit a while ago, but I'm still addicted]. I play on heavy on DDR, but I usually just settle for hard on ITG.

Hello! I'm a new member here at DDRFreak. Short time player of DDR. But got relatively good quickly. Do Standard or Heavy songs, depending on what it is. I'm mike from Lexington, Ky. Lots of DDR players around here. Yet to try the ddr machine at the theater though

I started playing DDR about on my birthday (August 4th) , and since then have improved pretty well.
Not to mention, since my birthday, I have lost about 50 pounds playing DDR. Went from 200 to 149.

I guess that wraps up my story, <3 2 all!

The name's Tifa and I've been playing DDR since about 2001 when I first tried a dance machine, which was PIU at Challenges in GA. I bought DDR that day and have been hooked ever since!
