okay, my High School put DDR in the noon activity room. Anyways, its been like 1 and 1/2 weeks and one of their metal pads left arrows stopped working. That thing is a POS. Nobody who plays it can even pass a Light song. Thats it. And it broke from light songs. They took the button off and it looked like this (sorry for MSpaint picture).

And thats it. A piece of tinfoil over a piece of circutboard thingy. Proportions ARE accurate. And yes, its tinfoil. Seriously.

I advise nobody to buy these pads. The bars basically fall out and the buttons are overall unresponsive. I got an E on tsugaru on standard (which I always do as a warm up) and I usually get an A at home/in the arcades. After that I stopped playing.

I don't exactly know what the pad is called, but it looks a lot like the True Arcade pads. Please dont buy these.

My home-brew $15 modded pad is better than these. The metal isnt even real metal, its plastic, at least on top im sure. It looks a lot like the "TRUE ARCADE" pads but I doubt it is. Anyways im just telling you that these suck and to watch out for the blue box and yellow buttons! Seriously!

ne ways heres my ghetto dance pad. as you see i attempted to make it work by switching arrows around, using duct tape, etc. which works when the arrows crack but eventualy it stops working all together.

A lot like these cyphers E10.gif. Yeah, they're a little old. I modded mine and took out the foil tape. They didn't survive too long before they started having electrical problems though.

Thanks... but I've already abandoned them for ignitions. I used pieces of sheet metal on the bottom of my arrows instead of the foil tape... that's what that mod is all about.
And as for the cracked panels, I got new, thinner plastic from Home Depot and replaced them. I did transplant surgery from an old soft pad for the panel graphics.

Honestly, this demonstrates the saying "You get what you pay for". I would suggest they either upgrade to Cobalt Flux pads, or get an actual DDR machine.

OKAY i checked it out and could not find any brand on it anywhere. BTW the janitor fixed the one that broke, but they both still suck. Anyway I saw that the wire leads to a pin connector before going to the blue box. It's too bad that many of them look extremely similar. I will check again for a branding on Monday but until now, watch out for that blue box E13.gif(which may or may not come with it). PS its not the cyphergames one cuz its got a different cord.
