Craziest thing you've done to play/get to DDR?

Ok, there is no sticky, and I didn't find another post for this one so here it goes:

What is the craziest thing you've for DDR. Whether it's driving 5 hours to get to your closest arcade just to find out they're closed on Sunday, or Mow the lawn in 2 minutes so you can hurry to get to the arcade.

Me, I drove 80 miles to get to the only DDR machine that was available at 3AM in the morning.

me and my friend had a race to get to a machine and on the way i fell over and broke my arm....that sucked

I once left a job site for about haf an hour to dash across the street and get in a couple of games at the nearby arcade before it closed, since it was probably my only chance to visit that particular arcade.

When I got back I was asked where I'd been, and I replied that I'd been around the entire time and that we must've just missed each other. I was a bit sweaty, but it was raining outside, so I said I'd just been walking around outside a bit.

My friend and I would go out of our way to go to best buy and play US Extreme and pwn some Best Buy Employee NUBS!!! Ever since the local movie theater got rid of their machine we've been gettin pretty desperate.

My english teacher was letting his home-room class play DDR at lunch, so even though I wasn't in his class, I snuck in to play. Unfortunetly, I only lasted 10 minutes before he caught me, and yelled at me. However, I STILL feel like it was worth it.

Oh God....overshot the location of the arcade by about 75 miles, and we witnessed a murder.

It was the the end of band camp a week before school started and we took our annual trip to OFW. I (along with a few others) spent all of my time on the good downstairs machine. It was like 8:55 and we had to leave in 5 minutes, the coin line was too long to get in one more game so a couple of us dart AT FULL SPEED upstairsto go play a quick game on the old machine upstairs. I nearly pass out running up a flight of stairs that fast, and then the machine only counted 3 tokens instaed of six so we couldn't play vs. we had to split the songs, (and I fail Holic AGAIN...grr I hate playing that song on THAT machine)

i went to an exclusive premier of the movie "Cinderella Man" wih my dad and instead of actually watching the movie i decided to play DDR for 2.5 hrs straight that was also the day i moved up to standard

i spent $30 at that machine

one time i went the the bowling alley at like 3 in the morning for a ddr fix. i played for 5 hours on 4 dollars and panhandled change. i got a few crouds, fought off a few hecklers. it was an average ddr session (im still kidna surprised people go to the bowling alley at 3 am.)

That's the most fun time in my not-college area. And by "fun," I mean "Wow, I'm glad I wasn't the one who got shot tonight!"** I built my metal pad so I could play at home. I'm not that exciting...

**I think someone is killed at or around the alley 4 out of 7 days of the week on average. Murder in daylight is not uncommon either; just before I left for VT, someone was killed over a drug deal at 3:30 PM.

Had to start work at 4pm (I work in a bowling alley) and when I walked in at about 10 to I saw free credits...and there were like 4 and I wasnt going to waste them, so I jumped on the machine and went for my life...I recovered and got to the other end of the centre where the counter is approx 10 mins late...but thats ok, it was worth being late!
There was also the time I went on a machine after consuming a large milkshake from Baskin Robbins...I didnt feel so well after that but I really wanted to play!

So yesterday i wanted to go to the arcade sosoooo bad, and my mom was like just go play on the CF u just bought, and i was like i dont have sakura mom.

so then i was like," Hey mom ill pay for gas if i can go to the arcade."

and she said,"Ok."

i went with my mom and grandparents to the store because my mom said if i went she would take me..so after 3 hours i finally got to go..lol..plus my grandpa gave me 20 bucks so i was like...dankness..hehe...gosh that was back in march when i played alot of DDR..i played 7 days a week at home..now i never play at home..and i go to the arcade about twice a week...but i do stay for many hours..i drive now too so i don't have to depend on people to give me rides
