Modding MY ROIP?

Ok long story short, my old pad got soaked and is now dead(flood). My soft pad(20 dollars) was modded and still worked perfect(had it for all most a year) but now today i went out and got a red octane ignition pad 3.0, my question is, should i mod this the same way i did my soft pad? (how you guys said to mod soft pads is how mine was modded)

There's an official pad just for the Redoctane Ignition pads, which you can find by following the links in the thread entitled, "START HERE" at the top of the forum.
