Yep. And it's a good thing.

I tried to get my previous gf into DDR, but she just sucked, and always wanted to quit after 2 sets, and then I had to feel bad for dragging her to the machine.

Then I met my current gf at a machine. She loves the game as much as I do. I never have to hear anything like, "you're off to go play that stupid game AGAIN?" or "why are you wasting money on this dumb thing?" It's great.

This whole "I'd rather sweat with my gf in bed than on the pad" junk....why not do both? Like it's impossible to find a girl who wants to DDR with you and lay you?

Which reminds me, she gave me an old NNR challenge to pass a light song while we're knockin boots. And I still intend to complete it lol.

My best friend got me into DDR, then i revealed it to my boyfriend. Now, we both do things together. It's fun having someone that's into that kind of stuff as you. It makes things awesome.

Yup, I have.

I met her through the community in OR though, rather than like AT an arcade. We'd see eachother at tourneys and stuff and when I was up there or she was down here (unfortunatley she lived about 100 miles north of me), but eventually we started to realize we liked eachother and started dating, and we did for like 6 months or so.

Fairly recently I've met another girl through DDR, but pretty indirectly. She plays but not that much, I just met her because she was a friend of a DDR playing friend of mine.

Well, yes, in a way. I became good friends with my current boyfriend and as friends, he introduced me to DDR. After a while, we became more than friends and sometimes, I think that DDR did bring us closer because it was a common obsession.

i agree with IamMe. how she met her boyfriend throught DDR. well 4 me it was kinda like that. see my boyfriend started playing first and when we went to the mall he forced me to play since then im sooooo addicted to ddr. i mean he has to pry me out of the arcade when our movie starts. im his groupie but i play also i might only be on light but im proud of it. we are named the dancing couple he even has a shirt sayin his ddr name w/ DDR Freak on the front. ill get mine soon and then ill have pics for anyone who wants one.
