-Blue Orchid: strong bass and i can see some sweet combos that could go w/ it. this song is by The White Stripes and the album was "Get Behind Me Satan."

-Spring: this is from the four seasons by Vivaldi and it is just quick and complex.

-White Shadows: this was the third song on the new coldplay cd (x and y) and i pick it for the same reason as the first song w/ the addition that this song could be another Bag just a bit faster.

-Bleach OST: i say almost all the songs from Bleast OST (official sound track) 1 would make some sweet DDR. You can find this CD on animenation.com

-My Console: this is by Eiffel 65 from the album "Europop." i found this song very nice and constant w/ a nice playstation theme. this is techno.

-Dub in Life: the same group and album as above but it is much heavier w/ the aditional repetetive part that makes it great for practice.

-Hyperlink: same group and album as above but it is a fast song w/ a veryhigh BPM (i think thats corect lingo) and it is alright to listen and dance to w/o the DDR pad.

-Tavern (Intro Cue): this is from the world of warcraft sound track and it is quite nice for a quick little game of DDR.

-Brandenberg Concerto No. 3 in G Minor: this one is a classical piece by Bach which if was ever made into an extreme or not it would be moderate speed, but would be at least a 7 or 8 step at standard.

-Rvolutionary Study Etude No. 12 Op. 10 in C Minor: this song is sickeningly fast and is all a piano solo. there is no stop to the song and constant additions are made. this would be a flashing 10 if played. this is by Frederic Chopin.

-Black Keys Study Etude No. 5 Op. 10 in G Sharp Minor: this song is by the same person as above but is about 3-4 times faster making a nearly impossable to play on a high difficulty but an amazing song choice.

-Military Polanaise No. 3 in A Major Op. 40 No.1: same composer as the above. a slower verson w/ a bit more to listen to but still a decent song.

-German Dances Rondo: this is composed by Beethoven. a simple string played (not sure of instament) but played at a semi-constant and it is fun to listen and dance to.

More DDR-worthy songs (and why):
"We Run This" by Missy Elliott - Sampling from the Sugarhill Gang's "Apache," the killer reason for DDR is the marching band part at the end of the song.
"Talk" by Coldplay - It's very mellow and emotional. This would make for a good 6-footer.
"Maxx AttaxX" by DM Ashura - It's one of the best fan-made Max remixes out there. Get the simfile on bemanistyle.
"Twilight Zone" by 2 Unlimited - This is a dance classic, and would be a good follow-up to the RC Extended Club Mix.
"Go" by Common - This is some good chill-down hip-hop that's NOT slow - not to mention it has a trippy music video.
"Gold Digger" by Kanye West feat. Jaime Foxx - This song is addictive, has good production, and has an excellent hook (Plus, the song fits Kanye's voice well).
"era (GC Phat Mix)" by TaQ feat. good-cool - This is an excellent remix of the original era that would be perfectly fitting as a challenge song.

We Like To Party is the Six Flags song. And truthfully, I don't think it'd be very fun to play. What you need is some really nice guitar instrumentals, like Ride The Chariot To The Devil, Absolute (Rock Guitar)...maybe try and get some Joe Satriani songs.

Wait, what am I saying? DDR should definitely get Joe Satriani songs into their games.

No, it wasn't.

The RC Ext Club mix he refers to was, but the original song has never been.

Already done. It's called "Kakumei" (Which, when translated into English means "Revolution".) and its on DDRMAX2 (Arcade, JP Home and US Home) and DDR Extreme (Arcade, JP Home). It's a 9 on Heavy and an 8 on Challenge.

True, but the song was slowed down considerably from the tempo indicated by Chopin (Allegro con fuoco, IIRC). It'd be cool if they made a remix of Kakumei but took the speed way up.

Though I hate the song personally, there's this Kelly Clarkson song, I think it's called Listen to Your Heart. I heard a techno version of the song while I was at work and I thought that even though I personally couldn't stand it as a regular song, it would be workable as a ddr song.
