1.)People who rather than putting a token on the machine put their game money in and walk away. (I got a free game once, then ran away)
2.)People who pick the really hard songs on their first game after begging you to play versus with them while you drip with sweat. I.E a three song game. 1.) Matsuri Japan. 2.) Rythym and Police. 3.) The Legend of Max. I hate that. I can't even beat LoM riiight.gif
3.) The Candy Man. The eight year old at my arcade that's probably rich, puts 12 tokens up at once, and plays Candy <3 for all 36 of his songs.
4.) Shadowing
5.) Shadowing very badly
That's pretty much it. I don't go to the arcade much

Its entertaining for about 1 minute at first..but then it just gets sad to see.
Sometimes people go up and think that the monitor is kinda useless since they stare at the arrows on the floor thinking that they have to hit the ones that suddenly light up....
and so they have the the whole newb stance going on they stomping on one arrow for about 1 min. until they accidentally stomp on another. Then they see that one light up and step on two arrows again and again. Then a kid comes up and hit another arrow and they switch feet going for that one. And so for 3 turns they go like that until they get bored of wasting my time and then get their friends to go up and completely ignore the token line. If your new its sorta understandable but you cant ignore the heavy breathing sweaty kids waiting their turns @_@

someone playing beside you... you pick solo and they get pissy because 'oh oh they didn't want solo *wah wah wah*'
then when you're playing with your speed mods on, keeping your rhythm just fine, the guy beside you is playing on 1x and keeps tripping on his own feet with rather loud shoes. messing with my rhythm... burn in hell
and people throwing things at you while you play... annoying :B

I hate it when people play the freakin' Drumania machine thats's RIGHT BESIDE the DDR machine. That damn thing has made me lose my concentration so many times; especially when someone picks a song on Drumania that I'm playing on Extreme.

So, I guess you could say I hate it when arcade owners put excessively noisy machines beside the DDR one <insert string of profanities here>

I really, really hate Drumania.

I hate it when people that have no experience
playing DDR either:
1. Come up with a group of their "buds"
and start shouting random arrow directions while you try
to do a 190+BPM song.
2. Try to distract you by saying rude things in between beats.

Oh man, I hate this too. I always tell people that I use solo arrows before they play me, and some still find room to complain.

haha. yeah. i hate it when there are loud macines right next to the ddr machine.

one time at the arcades, i was playing vs with one guy on paranoia survivor. after he gave up, he stepped off the pad, but a little kid jumped on and started doing random spins and jump. it was kinda funny, but really distracting. he almost made me fail.

i hate people who select the same song 3 times..... i dont want to sit through that while im waiting to play

and it pisses me off when people dont know how a coinline works, and simply states that it's their turn to play... i'd like to explain to them, but then im always afraid of sounding like a jerk.. haha. im always insecure about these things..

I hate it when:

Someone shadows me while doing a 10 footer.
Someone shadows me while attempting AAA.
Someone who doesn't really know how to play shadows me.
Someone trys to talk to me while doing a 10 footer or attempting AAA.

My bad lil cousin was messing with me while playing DDR. I knocked him upside his head & continued with my song.

I don't like it when someone shadows off the pad, like on the floor next to it, they look really stupid.

One thing this guy did the other night that annoyed me was he C'd Cartoon Heros, so I said, "I havn't passed it yet." ( I have since though). Well he replied with, "Yeah but I've been playing 10's all night." Saying it like he was all proud of himself. What he failed to mention was that he failed each of those 10's miserably.

Yesterday someone yelled at me for asking him to move so i could hop the bar on R3, so i just ran into him when i ran at the bar. E15.gif

When parents don't watch their little kids and they get too close to the pad.

This doesn't make me angry, but it's quite annoying:

Pretending to dance along. Not shadowing, but "dancing". To Typical Tropical.

DDR isn't dancing, it's arrow smash. kthxbye.

No, I mean Typical Tropical.

Yes, I was playing ITG2 at the time, but the song's originally from DDR, so...I don't know. There's no "Things that people do when playing ITG that anger you" thread.

I'm sorry, but I had to speak up...
Honestly, I know at least 4 people who really can't read the arrows when they're in solo mode.
If you tell them that you play with solo on, then that's different, but if you just randomly chose it, since it affects both sides, I think you should ask the other person if it's alright with them.
Most people will say it's fine, but again, some people just can't read it in solo.
