I've been considering getting a tattoo of the DDR arrows on my lower back ever since I started playing about a year ago. Im really in love with this game, and I think that would be a great first tattoo.
Anyone have any opinions on this? riiight.gif

(Keep in mind I still have 2 more years until Im 18 (meaning no tattoos just yet) but I figure if I still want it after that time passes, there is nothing that will stop me. Muwahaha.)

- First topic ever. w00t.

edit: I will try to post a picture of the design later.

Dude. I think that if thats what you want ...go for it. I love Twisted Metal 2 and always wanted to get a tatoo of sweet tooth on my shoulder. Well I havent because im not really into tatoos. But if its something you feel strongly about and if its something that has made an impression in your life and you want it.....Go for it....Good luck

I have a tatoo on my lower back, and let me tell you it HURT. It was some of the most excruciating pain I've ever been through. Just thought I'd let you know E13.gif

Also, since you're still just 16 I would suggest going with something a bit smaller than what you're describing. I mean, you don't want to be in your 40's with DDR arrows on your back thinking "WTF did I ever do that for..." Maybe something a little more subtle would be good, IMO. Like a DDR arrow on your hip or something (if you're a girl...)

Pointing downwards of coarse.

Darn, you beat me to it. E15.gif (I was going to make a topic like this, I just never got to it.)

I think that a single DDR arrow (nice gradients too) would make a cool tattoo. 5uP3R H4w7!

Reconsider this, or you'll hate your lower back in a few years.

Listen to annon. As for my own opinion, I think getting any kind of tattoo is a bad idea. I might just get certified in laser tattoo removal so I can make a killing from all the people getting tattoos today, all while saying stuff like "Are you still glad you got that tattoo, now that I'm charging $X,000 to remove it?"

i would say go for it, but get a small arrow and make it hidden so when you are older, you won't get all made asking yourself why did u get a tattoo.

Wow a ddr arrow in your avatar would be cool, because you know, noone has them.

I have the 4 ddr arrows tattooed on my right wrist-it was a mothers day present from one of my kids-ironically the one who doesn't play ddr.

Your parents should try to beat some grammar and spelling into you while they try to beat tattoo nonsense out of your head. I'm 100% sure that in 10 years at most you won't be "ubsessed" with DDR anymore. You're only 15. Try to let some common sense grow into your head.

That's awesome, I was thinking about getting the four arrows on some part of my body.

I can see how age might make me reconsider it, but honestly, who will be looking at my back when Im 80?

I went to my tattoo guy yesterday and got it priced. Since I am getting it colored in a sort of rainbow it will cost $200. Eeek. I would rather spend $200.00 on one tattoo that I like than end up spending $200 on several random tattoos that dont make me as happy. We shall see.
