why 8 footers and faster bpm are harder than 7 footers?

Just wondered why some songs that are 8 footers are alot easier than some that are 7 footers and have a slower bpm? for example i can complete crash on expert mode but can't handle candy on expert mode and candy is meant to be easier than crash? from dancing stage euromix 2? also how do you get past the arrows that are so bunched together you can't distinguish them?

i use the ddr machine at my arcade at the moment as i only have a crappy dance mat at home and im saving up to get one imported from usa!! how do I get the speed mods on at arcades and how do speed mods help me improve?

Crash! is easier than Candy*. The step patterns in Crash are easier and less complicated than those in Candy*.

Candy (star) is an 8. Candy (HEART), or the one with the vocals, is a 7.

It was candy heart not the vocal one!! it just seemed loads harder than crash a 8 footer!!!

Candy (star) is the one WITHOUT the vocals.

oh yeah Im just looked on euromix 2 and it said candy is 8!! i looked away when my mate told me it and she said it was 7 thats why i thought!! so it's ok now they are both 8 footers!!gotta work at both!!!
