Think about it... did Yasu ever AAA PSMO? I don't think he did if I'm not mistaken.

So that proving all the people that can, would be better than him by a longshot.

So what if he AAA'd Max 300 300 times. I mean it is amazing, but he probably played it like 20 times a day... who does that?

But I am interested to hear his thought, opinions, and scores.

I wouldn't think Yasu would ever need anyone to defend him but I guess I was wrong.

Yasu's first legend road pass was 72 greats and 3 non combo's. This was done within weeks of the course being unlocked and I'm pretty sure you couldn't play PSMO outside of the course yet. This was done almost 2 and a half years ago. If you can't appreciate that then I don't know what you will. I don't think it's that out there to say most active players can't beat that score today.

This place was one big Yasu/Take fanboy haven and I was surprised to see people now not resprecting what they had done.

kevbo, (MegaManX) has ITG, and has AAA'd the entire game.... as have alot of american players, why is yasu so special?
He's done many other crazy things besides just AAA'ing really hard songs OVER AND OVER. For example someone challenged him to AAA so deep on 1x flat and he did it on his first try. And kevbo hasn't AAA'd the entire game yet.... he still has to get psmo (which he got 2 greats on). And like everyone said.... him and his brother were the first great players. They were AAA'ing 10's back when kevbo was failing afronova beginner on usa mix.

If anything, I should say that this is rather ironic, given that, AFAIK, he's never imported any of the US mixes like Konami kept saying the Japanese players would do.
He's never needed too; all the best mixes have always been Japanese. Who the heck would want to import one of our mixes? The only semi-decent ones were max 1 and 2.

He got it like over 2 months ago, there's a video of it floating around somewhere.

I have a video of him AAAing PSMO on 2x. Yes, Kevbo HAS AAAed all of DDR on single, and I do believe he's also gotten so deep on 1x flat...and I think 5 greats on legend road, and gotten under 20 perfects on Max300 in that course as well. Basically he's one of the better players in the world, if not the best. We won't even get into his ITG scores. That 2 greats video was over a year ago man, wouldn't you think he'd have AAAed it by now? >.<

I am interested in seeing a japanese person's opinion of the game personally, regardless of how good he is.

That's subjective. I've played the Japanese home versions, but still love my American mixes too. <3

It will be done eventually...

People said that about PSMO and the AAA and look what Kevin did.

I wouldn't be surprised if yasu gave kevin a run for his money. This guy was bored with DDR before most of us started playing.

I've seen Kevin/MMX get a 98.xx% on Pandemonium expert. im sure that eventually someone will get a 100% on Pandy ex. but IMO, getting 100% on ITG is a lot harder than AAAs on DDR.

100% = All Fantastics
AAA = All Perfects (in normal gameplay)

Fantastic window = 20 ms
Perfect window = 30 ms

Ergo, it's not a matter of opinion--a 100% is numerically harder to achieve.

If you ask me, the only songs on ITG that have no chance of ever being ****'d are Euphoria and Vertex^2. Just too much stuff on those. Probably not HCoTN and Tell also, as with a few other 11's and most twelves.

But remember, iamchris4life got 1 Excellent on Charlene, so I think we'll definately see quite a few 11s and Twelves ****'d.

My predictions for firsts-

10-Tribal Style
11-Charlene, Xuxa, Destiny or Robotix
12-Delerium

it's a big deal because yasu was arguably the greatest DDR player of his time and he has a lot of talent...so people are excited that some amazing accomplishments may now be made......

there are definitely bigger things in the world than yasu getting ITG.....but there is some slight excitement there I guess

Like many people in this thread, much as I am not particularily interested in JSB's recent ITG experiences except that he is my friend, I'm not really that interested in Yasu's. Not to know him or Aaron, they both rock, but yeah...not that interested compared to Kevin and Mike.

When was the last time he played a dancing game before itg? He might've been 2-3 years out of practice before getting getting In The Groove.
