This is my second Stepmania machine being built for private use, the pictures start at about 3 weeks in, but be sure to look for updates every few days.

Nice job. Im in the works of making plans myself. I do hope you are gonna sand, fill holes and paint and make it look real good... E4.gif All the hard work so far. You dont want to skip all that. I wonder how you can make it accept quarters?....

Yea actually the next update (Today at about 8) will be after sanding. Then the next will be paint, (Before wednsday) Thanks alot for the + Comments, stay tuned

Heres something I'd though I'd just throw out to you to help make your SM machine seem cool

When I was looking for my friend's pad, i came across these speakers that light up. Heres the link: http://store.yahoo.com/videogamesdepo/si51gaspwifl.html

I'm not sure how good they are, but they do look like they would work nicely with ddr.

I doubt they would pump out the bass notes...but they look neat and would dress up an arcade cabinet...Pretty cool!

Well, i already own 12" round cathodes for each speaker, and 4 lights for the marquee.... so I already got that one covered... lol

What size TV screen is that? Im building one of my own, im using a 20 inch tv and it just looks weird.

I like that, someone named after StarCraft calls someone else a nerd... Anyway...

My stepmania machine is 2 pads short of being complete. And it looks horrible. In fact, it looks like a computer on a desktop... Guess what I'm saying is I wish I could afford to do that, it looks really nice, and I'd love to have it, or at least be able to use it...

hey my arcade is going to make a stepmania machine but not a cabnet as such, it mostly gotta be a BIG LCD screen with two really good metal pads
running stepmania with two huge speakers on the sides
