They don't have names for 10-12's. Naming conventions stopped at 3rd Mix with the introduction of the 9 (Catastrophic). Before that, 8's were called Exorbitant. Not as catchy, of course, because the only thing that stuck was Cata.

Just to remind you, there's no titled 11's or 12's in DDR. Maybe it feels like an eleven, but there's nothing higher than 10 and flashing 10.
The foot titles died out after 3rd mix. Most people ended up calling the 10's apocalyptic. _________________

Uh what? Sorry, but I'm going to have to ask why. This is the first time I've heard such a thing. What is 10.12? _________________

But yeah, Cata has stuck, since its easy to abbreviate, and even then, some people don't know what it means. _________________

So if a 10 is a Pie, an 11 must be a Super Pie. _________________

well you see *sighs* why did you have to ask ok. well do you know the transition between 8 and 9 that gap isnt so hard right? well thats because its only a 1 footer differance now... the gap between 9 and 10 well thats a 1 footer differance also right? but did you notice how much harder the transition is from 9 feet to 10? yeah it takes a lot more time to go from 9's to 10's then it does from 8's to 9's... so ive estimated that the differance between 9's and 10's are closer to a 1.1199 differance (1.12 rounded to the nearest thousandth) every other transition is only a 1.0009 differance (1.00 rounded to the nearest thousandth)
This information is based on a survey done on 20 people who all could A any 8 footer. These people have all been playing for around 4 months and have never tried a 9 or 10 footer before The information showed that it took an average of 4.0018 hours for them to be able to A a 9 footer.
Now the same test was done 4 months later with every variable the same except that they had never played a 10 footer only 9 footers
it took an average of 4.2298 hours for them to be able to "A" a 10 footer. so the scale is then rounded 4 hours (rounded to the nearest hundreth) is equal to the transition from 8's to 9's [ 4=1.00] ( rounded to the nearest hundreth)
it takes 4.23 hours is equal to the transition from 9's to 10's (rounded to the nearest hundreth) therefore [4=1.12] (rounded to the nearest hundreth)
therefore 9+1.12= 10.12 and 8+1= 9...
i know this all seems like Bull Sh!t to you but it explains why the transition is so hard between them
note: this information is not accurate because a number of variables were not counted for such as shoes, age, height...... and because they didnt start from 1's
so that is why 10's should be 10.12... *sigh* i told you why did u have to ask....
im pretty sure i read about this somewhere... wow im suprised i can actually remember this much...
idk if this true or not but yeah thats why i call 10's 10.12 every now and then _________________
