People like to play video game so much these days, and DDR is one of them, I know alots of people who don't really play other games but DDR and music games. DDR is definately an addicting game! but why is it so fun and addicting?

DDR attracts people because, frankly, dancing is fun. People like to move rhythmically, put their bodies in motion and even occasionally start commotions. DDR adds a flavor of challenge, so that instead of simply doing something that's fun you're doing something that's fun and feel like you're accomplishing something, the same feeling of triumph that attracts people to every other video game. The excercise and health value of it don't hurt either, or the ability to show off to random people in arcades.

I just play it to let off hyperactive steam.

Plus the fact that crowds dissipate at the sight of me. I'm like putting dish soap on the surface of a mosquito nest biggrin.gif

It's fun, it's a challenge (for me, since I've only been playing for 3 months), and it's great exercise :>

The fact that adds that rhythem, competitiveness and dancing edge gives it that extra oomph. This, along with crowds and whatnot, keep me going. It's fun and challening, rather than just sitting home and playing video games.... being inactive...

I play DDR because it's fun, still challenging, and has random songs that make me look like a idiot stomping on the floor, but it's still fun.

I think you hit every point there for me biggrin.gif

But it also just gives me something to do other than sit on the couch and eat doritos all day E15.gif
