starting tens

Ok my strengths are above average FA (not great by any means but im constantly working on it), enough stamina to beat pande normal(the 9) and i can can easily do the tell (hard) runs. My weaknesses are psmo type runs such as mythology and i still have trouble with that one in That Sound. i also have some difficulty reading step-jump streams like, once again, mythology(hard), but i still pass it with a 78ish if not higher.

I think Zodiac, Hand of Time, Vertex and Queen of Light were the first 10's that I passed. I'm not a great player or anything (my being over 30 doesn't help), but you might want to try one of those. To tell you the truth, I still can't pass Maxx Unlimited, but I was able to pass Zodiac and Vertex on my first try.

In my opinion, Mythology Expert and Disconnected Hyper Expert are one of the hardest 10s.

Singles: Queen of Light, if u know how to use your hands. Zodiac, if you can care less of FC'ing. Hand of Time, if you don't mind very few rapid-stepping on a very few parts.

Doubles: Pandemonium Hard. Easiest 10 overall.

In this game I accidently started with walking on fire o.O;;
If you have enough stamina that is a pretty easy...medium 10. Others:
Queen of Light (Cross-Step Freezes)
Anubis/Zodiac (Speed it up a little to make it a 9

)
Oasis (Once you master Queen of Light)
Hybrid (Once again a stamina issue, it has a sorta fast BPM)
Walking on Fire (MAJOR STAMINA in my opinion, i can 74% it at my best!)

I think 9 and 10 in some cases are the same, but once you get into 11 and 12 you open a new can of worms O_O.
If you wanna try Utopia (Expert 11) it is one of the easier 11`s.

Since I'm right about at the 10 level, I'll post my scores on the 10s I can pass, and you might be able to use them as a gauge for which ones to try.

My Favorite Game - 91.77
Hand of Time - 91.26
Queen of Light - 90.28
Zodiac - 88.66 (probably easier to pass, just hard to score because of the retarded part)
Oasis - 86.12 (don't even consider this if you can't do crossovers)
Do U Love Me - 83.54 (could probably do better; this was the first 10 I tried and I've gotten a lot better since then)
Walking on Fire - 80.75
Bend Your Mind - 79.67 (could probably do better; I played it when I was really tired)
Vertex - 77.78 (really bad score because it's offsync as fuck and I can't read 1x)
Anubis - 73.74 (could probably do much better because I was on 2.5x for some reason when I played it)
Kagami - 72.62 (this song is damn hard)

Bouff, Hyper, Mythology, and Tension are in the impossible range.

Hybrid I might be able to BS through with a really bad score.

Remember December I could probably pass with a reasonable score by BSing the 16ths, since the rest of the song is easy.

sry huge bump, but i wanted to post progress.

beaten:
Anubis(70.xx)
Zodiac(technically a 9 now)
Hand of Time(75ish)
Walking on fire(once w/70ish)
Queen of light(80+)

i know those scores have terrible percentage but i was just trying for pass...i came VERY close to beating charlene a few times(dont know how but i kept dying at the step-jumps near the end) and i can do mythology till the run(The 30 seconds of jumps SUCK cuz they kill my stamina).close to vertex.

all in all i can beat some regularly but i was wondering if someone could help me with step-jumps and streams like mythology???

First ITG 10 I beat was VerTex Hard (I have 84.15% on it). After that, I believe it was Liquid Moon Expert. Since then, I've beaten Tribal Style Ex, Hybrid Ex, My Favourite Game Ex, Kagami Ex, Oasis Ex, and Anubis Ex (not counting Zodiac because it's a 9 on the PS2). All in all, if you don't mind some tricky maneuvering, I'd say that Liquid Moon Expert is pretty easy to beat. However, most of the "what should I beat first?" comes down to what you yourself are good at (stamina, speed, chaos, etc.). As for beating Mythology, try practicing the end runs of PS/M/O. For ITG practice, The Beginning Expert has the kinds of turns and crossovers used at the end of Mythology.

i found hand of time really easy to read for a 10. i did it on stepmania, got a AA the first time i tried it (indexing). i havent ported it onto my xbox yet so my score would probably be lower, b or so, first time with feet, but overall i think its a good one to start with.

I'd say start with Anubis. Fairly easy, only tricky part is the 32nds at the end, but after that it's simple. Or try Queen of Light, it's not hard,but it has alot of steps that your hands are needed. Also, D-Hyper is EASY, seriously, this song is like, MAX 300 Heavy easy.

well my first 10 in ITG was Hybrid, and after that was probably Hand of time, Anubis, and then Disconnected Hyper. I started out doing them all no bar, but that wasn't really wise on my part, as my scores were all extremely crappy on those songs (except for anubis, I still don't bar it) until I started using the bar.

and whoever said that Disconnected Hyper is as easy as Max 300 needs to get their head checked.

My first one was My Favorite Game and I think it is a good one to start out on. The only challenging part I would say is the end run.

like i already said, ive already beaten Anubis, QoL, and Hand of Time. i could beat My Favourite Game if i played it a few more times, and vertex is the same, gotten close to Oasis but the freezes are pretty retarted after a while. not even gonna touch D-Hyper and Remember December yet, cuz those are way too tough right now (and btw, whoever said D-hyper was Max300 easy is on crack, cuz i can easily beat max and cant pass 50 on hyper)
