Both but emphasis on the latter. The bounceback is not so much it distracts you, but it gives you a little kick which cutsdown on the energy you need to use per step. The little changes don't seem like much, but when you factor them all in you can see why the change is so dramatic. |
OK, so it's like the difference between running on grass (like that of a good soccer field, or something) and cement. Now I'm really sad that I don't have an ITG2 near me... T_T |
excellent way to put it |

Yeah the ITG2 pads are .. TO senstive but you can get used to it I get alot of way offs because im so used to stomping on DDR pads and junk you can just slide your feet across the pad with these things. _________________

Yeah, that is my only problem with the pads. They are so sensitive, that you can get a lot of decents and way offs even if you are hitting steps perfectly, because sometimes a sensor will just go off from you hitting another arrow or something. The worst scenario I have had with this so far was Remember December Hard, where in the last 20-30 seconds of the song, I got 8 way offs from the pad.
Other than that, the pads are amazing. _________________

Ive played both itg2 and ddr, personally i like playing ddr better, but as you have read the itg2 pad is smaller and less tireing and that is true. I think for now everyone will have to try it for themselves. I dont think that itg will take over the danceing game market but it may convert a few people as it may seem. _________________

Imagine the total shrinkage is about 1 inch (so what like 0.25inch per square, barely visible). Now imagine there are 900 steps in a song.
That's 900 inches less movement, which comes out to 75 feet less you are moving per song. That's quite a difference. |
Heh...shrinkage...
Yeah that's all I got out of that. I must say though, they do seem a lot easier to play on than any DDR pads I've ever played on and simply feel great. |
