I made a post like this a few months ago when I first started playing DDR and it got locked for being "racist."

I guess I forgot that the goths are a proud race of people who have suffered many hardships being persecuted for things that they cannot control...

I turthfully don't know what the gothic allure of DDR is, but whatev. Imma eat some graham crackers. Peace.

WOO!!!!! Other people consider me a Goth but I also just like to wear black, no Satan here, nothing at all really.

I know SOOO many "Goths" that play DDR, my friend, who is a "Goth" invited me to the arcade with him and we played DDR......actualy all the "Goth" people I've seen play are good....never seen any of them really Free Style though.

Where the hell (no pun intended btw) do you get this? Last time I checked, most goth's (at least the ones I hang with) are Aethiests. That means they don't believe in Satan. WTF?! Not all goths are Satanists. ((yeah, I get flack at school about being goth - sucks to be in the bible belt, especially in an area where everyone hates you to begin with frown.gif))

What do you meen, "Where did I get this?" I was just saying thatmost people consider me a Goth because I dress in all Black, also, they consider me to be a Satanist, which I'm not, that's what I meant. Furthermore, Athiest, yeah, I am, alot of people I know are that are "Goth" and play DDR.

I can assure you that goths wouldn't sit around with other goths and sing Butterfly, like I do with the other 'goths' in my area. Or CSFIL. Maybe Daikenkai.

...We sing Butterfly down here too. Then it caught on to the.. not.. "goth" people. and it made it weird so we stopped. But they still sing it.

A good number of the people I've seen who play are "gothic" or "gothic-type."

And pfft. If mother dearest would let me, I'd be in those pants from hot topic. but alas. She doesn't. disgust.gif

I have a lot of mall goths in my area. They suck at DDR as well as life, these are the people that sit and cry in a corner while writing poetry. They are annoying and they always play the same songs over and over. The only reason they don't talk to anybody is because they have no life and aren't used to having REAL friends. I am not a goth, and I still wear clothes from HOT TOPIC, but I still hate that store, and everyone in it. I like the clothes. This leads me to the conclusion that goths are the prettiest good-for-nothings in the world... Worthless. Anybody who calls themselves "goth" is an idiot. End of story.

Well, I've only played at an arcade a handful of times, but my first time at one, I saw this guy dressed in all black, with black hair, and black makeup. He was also really good, he FC'd V Oni at least. He also didn't seem to want to talk to anyone too much.

That's about all I have to say on the topic E1.gif

Holy Crap, I bet he could do Sakura on Heavy too! I wear hot topic clothing due to the fact that i'm comfortable in it. I'm not goth, i don't hate life and every creation of God, I'm not an underage drinker or Smoker. I do play guitar though, and i do listen to rock music.

Meh, I've known a few goths who played DDR, nothing special though.
I personally find it hilarious when they play. It's funny to see a chain wallet flying all over the place.

and please HOT TOPIC IS NOT GOTH! and by any means do not try to define goth. i see anybody that plays DDR as someone looking to have fun and not what the media has labeled them because of fashion and or mentality. please be open minded and accept them as fans of a game that we all enjoy

If you were Athiest, why would you mention Satan? He's only supposed to be a figurehead for rock music, or so I gather from looking at rock from a non-rocker angle...

And goths aren't ravers. Ravers dance to *gasp* rave music, which is *gasp* electronic.

I don't see why the whole "mallcore" thing has to come up. Does it make a bloody difference if I want to wear overpriced brand name pants? I don't wear them to be impressive in my $55 pants, I wear them because they are comfortable, really warm in the winter, and they look spiffy IMO. I haven't DDRed in any of my Tripp pants with all the straps, chains, ect. attached yet, but they do work for DDR.

Oh crap. I didn't realize I had to be an idiot to be what I am. Guess I better start cashing in my As and Bs in school for a few more Fs, eh? Perhaps I should spend my time doodling pentagrams in my notebook over taking notes? Honestly, this is pure crap. I don't see why you have to generalize people. I know plenty of goths, and am friends with a few, and they are all intelligent people who just don't fit in because of whatever. In fact, to push the point home, one of them is a straight A student who just can't quite keep everything in his life afloat. So keep your crap opinions to yourself, mmmkay? Or GTFO. Your choice, ese.

Goggles123, if you insist on being stupid, could you at least do it without doubleposting? Kthx E1.gif

you deserve to be severely beaten...so what, today i had Hot Topic Pants on and a Shine on Dimebag Darrell shirt, Does that make me Gothic? I think not, you must be one of those people who judge by looks. Please stop and get to know a person first before making any accusations. I also Italicized your spelling and Grammer errors, if you want to lead a succesful life, Stay in school and learn to type correctly! Cheers!
