I was wondering if this is any good, the pad and the game., remember im new at this game. o_o

I dont have alot of money for those metal ones either.

Although DDR Extreme is not the best mix for the PS2, if you are new to the game, your best bet is to just start out with a flat softpad. I would go for it if I were you. If you suddenly get really good at the game, go out and buy an ignition pad (http://www.redoctane.com/, http://www.levelsix.com/) so that you can play the harder songs without your pad sliding as much. Ignitions also give you an idea of where you are on the dance pad with the raised buttons. Let me warn you: if you are new to the game, it's a good idea to start out with something cheap.
