1)The "A" in cata is pronounced like cat, because cata is short for catastrophic
2)Because everyone knows what pad is best, you get what you pay for, the best pad around in terms of quality and response is the CF, 2nd best is the afterburner, and tx- series/softpads after that. |

The whole reason there is a hardware forum is that there is no such thing as a 'best' pad. A CF is very responsive and durable but isn't shaped anything like an arcade pad (and some have gone so far as to say, although first-rate, you do more paying than getting with the thing). The Afterburner is very arcade-like, except it has no bar to practice using a bar with. The TX-5000 looks cool and has a bar but the responsive step area is considerably smaller than an arcade pad. Softpads do wear out quickly and have misses, but are cheap and more portable. For some people, they may need an actual DDR machine A poll would tell much and neither would a 'which pad is the best pad' thread. I suggest reading the pad threads and figuring out which is best for you based on that. |

ROTFL! Afterbunners suck!, ask anyone who has an afterburner pad. they will tell you.
I would say 1. CF, Ignition, afterbunner, soft |

Ok, this is turning into one of those cliché "best pad" arguements. Let's not have that happen, or move take this to the correct thread. Otherwise, answer the questions or don't say anything at all. _________________
