Does anyone find it a little bit odd that in the video for Be Rock U (1998 Burst Style) on Beatmania 9th Style, Naoki is completely randomly playing a guitar in the song when it is a completely synthesized song? You can find the video on Bemanistyle in the media shop. Also, I read that Be Rock U is just 1998 in Japanese, is this true? My Japenese is very poor...  |

Its not completly sinthisized. The guitar is *clearly* there.
This has nothing to do with DDR, and isn't it a little odd that you are asking of BeRockU is the japanese version of 1998, when the song title is "Be Rock U (1998 burst style)"?
If you where asking if it was word for word translation, well, I honestly dont know. I doubt it.

| Yeah I meant word for word, obviously it is Japanese with 1998 on it. And most of the song the guitar is completely off and not there, the only part is in the middle. |

No, the guitar is there. I can hear it clearly in the game and on the video.
Im watching the video, and I can hear it, its behind the sinthisized (sp?) keyboard, but its there.

I don't think BeRockU is the Japanese version of 1998 - I think its a remix or a different mix, or maybe Naoki just used some of the same samples (like MAX.(period) used Paranoia samples)
There is a guitar. Its very clear and very cool

Be Rock U is clearly 1998, try listening to them side by side.
