I think Jump by Van Halen would be a good song.

some pink floyd stuff would be good. tho that's just cuz i heart pink floyd...it probably wouldn't make good ddr music cuz of the mellow-ness...tho another brick in the wall could work...maybe...

anyway i would say that shiznit like hampster dance and stuff would be good...but hey...stepmania is a vast ocean of simfiles and my afterburner is shipping soon...all is well with the world

I used to have a whole bunch of songs I'd like to see, but all I can think of right now is "Get Yourself High" by Chemical Brothers featuring K-Os and "Boogie 2Nite" by Tweet.

Here, check out the sweet "Get Yourself High" video. It's an old-skool kung-fu movie that's been dubbed to make it seem like the characters are singing/rapping along to the song.

I think it'd be very appropriate if DDR had that song by some Boston band (google and wikipedia have deserted me in the search for their name) called "Dancing in the Light." It's very fast, sounds almost big-band or ska with a brass section, and has catchy lyrics that are, in fact, about dancing.

EDIT: The band was called Entrain, sorry.

I just remembered: "Gotta Get Thru This" was in one of the versions of the European Dancing Stage. I haven't seen its steps yet, but hopefully they're good enough. If not, they'd be remade before it makes its way (hopefully) onto an American console version.

And the songs keep coming on and on...

"Flava in Your Ear" by Craig Mack
"Holding Out for a Hero" by Frou Frou (The best version to DDR to)
"These Words (Lenny B Remix)" by Natasha Bedingfield (Nice remix. Hear it sometime on Music Choice Dance.)
"Musique" by Full Intention (Catch it on Music Choice Electronica.)
"Pass the Curvosier" by Busta Rhymes feat. P. Diddy
"Z" by DM Ashura

I don't know if this has been said yet. Willy Use a Billy by E-Rotic. The song may be about sex... but it just SCREAMS DDR (as long as they cut out the orgasm). E1.gif
