Yes, it does seem like machines are always surrounded by a bubble of intense heat! I don't get tired at an arcade for quite a while, but I get hot after just one game.

Standard: I get tired after about 5 songs, but recover quickly and can keep going after hugging my dear friend the ice pack for a minute or two.

Heavy: Once I managed 18 songs, but this was when I was just realising I could do heavy so I was REALLY determined to try as many songs as i could without failing or...well, fainting. I was very tired by the 10th song but I wanted to keep going untill I failed. Perhaps high determination makes you play more songs easier than if you were just playing for fun? 'Course, now I have to take a decent sized break after 5 songs frown.gif

Hmm...I don't recall ever sweating badly at home, but after an hour in an arcade it gets pretty bad. B.O. isn't really a problem for me, though ^-^

I can play for about 1.5 - 2 hours straight worth of heavy songs, at home. Haven't tried at the arcade, but I assume it would be less since I can slide around a lot more on my foam insert than I could on an arcade pad.

As for sweat, I am completely drenched by the time I'm done. Thats why I prefer playing at home actually, since I can jump in the shower as soon as I'm done.

Hi I play at home.
It seems like I have the most stamina after playing for an hour. once my calves get warm and numb, its easy peasy
I think I can play about 45 standard songs before calling it a day. But mostly because I work 9-5 and I dont have to much time in the evening.
I just started doing heavy! its exhausting! blink.gif

I do sweat very much on my head and my bosom area. but never BO.
My husband sweats so much. even his arms are slick with sweat. he likes to tease me by chasing my afterwards trying to hug me. goog.gif

i played for the first time in the arcade last weekend. I did a set on light mode because i wasnt used to the metal pads. I got very hot and sweaty after one game.

My stamina is actually pretty good... i can play multiple sets of 10's no bar and not get tired anymore(since playing ITG...13's makes 10s seem like a joke)... i tend to get very sweaty relatively fast(anything 10 or higher at least... but thats usually what im playing) but i dont tend to get BO from it...or at least not bad enough that you can tell

On Heavy I can play about 15-20 songs straight, at least on endless mode where you get a decent mix of strenuous and non strenuous songs. I could probably only do a straight run of arsebusting songs for like 8-10 songs, but then I'd want to die afterwards.

I don't sweat too much. I usually only feel some slight moisture by my forehead and neck. And I smell like daffodils and sunshine.

I had the most miserable time last night.
I went to the drive-in movie theatre and had a grand time busting my balls on the DDR machine in the arcade.
It seems I forgot that after I was done I was going to have to sit through
37 hours of Nicole Kidman acting like a drunk one-armed stepchild high on copious amounts of controlled substances. Needless to say, things did not go well in the car. Not having a spare set of clothes or a towell to dry off with I simply sat down in the front seat without worrying about how I was going to unglue myself from the seat when I got home. Apparently sweat acts as a very stong adhesive when applied wet and allowed to dry off. I think I still have most of my skin attached to my back, but no doubt will need lots of neosporin before I heal.

I've been known to play DDR/ITG anywhere up to 8 hours straight, nothing but Heavy on DDR, and mostly Hard/Expert on ITG. I have quite a bit of stamina. I have to play like fifteen 11 and 12 footers on ITG (not in a row, but spread out over like 10 games) before I even start to perform badly due to tiredness.

I don't sweat that much, at least no more than an average person would working out.[/i]

I can play about 15-20 heavy (no 10's) before I feel like collapsing.

I don't really sweat or smell at all afterwards. E15.gif

I've never really counted, but I just played an hour and a half's-worth of heavy songs and I feel fine (just a bit tingly).

I can play light and standard for a veryveryvery long time (until I get bored, basically ^__^). I can play 5-7 foot heavy for the same period of time and the time I can spend on consecutive 8-9 footers varies, but it's usually quite some time before I really get tired. 300+ BPM 10's kill me very quicky, stamina wise.
The other day I spent two hours (at home) playing nothing but ITG 9's. Could've kept going much longer. =D

And yeah, I sweat but I wear deodorant and thus do not stink. E4.gif
