Well, one more dancing game coming out in Japan thanks to Konami. This time it's Dance 86.4 Funky Radio Station. Seems like it's geared much more towards kids than anything. Then again, you could probably say the same thing about Pop'n Music. The entire site is in Japanese, but Bemanisky did some translations and capped a few screenshots.

A little trivia:

In Japan, Dance 86.4 is pronounced "Dansu Yarou Yo" (trans: Let's Dance!).

Ya - 8
Rou - 6
Yo - 4

You're not crazy, Mckeelsux! E1.gif

This game looks like it could be a lot of fun! ("Fun" not being a bunch of 10-feet ranked songs!) I would like to try it out, and hopefully it does well enough to warrant a home release! It looks like it could be easily ported to PS2, it could even use the standard DDR dance pad. (Only the top or bottom three buttons need to be used!)

I also see twin.'s avatar and could make a wild guess that he might be just a little dissapointed that a certain collective of idol singers isn't represented in this game at all! E13.gif Ah well... I would like to play EVERYDAY AT THE BUS STOP, Tommy February6 is my woman! E13.gif (Cutie Honey & MY SWEET DARLIN' too!)

Also, is it just me or is CENTERFOLD in this game too? drool.gif Would that be a cover of J.Geils Band? Haha!! Win!! (And it is!! Ochita Tenshi is the Japanese name of Centerfold!)

I agree, I haven't listened to that in a LONG time. But I did a involuntary hip thrust because of it, so it must be a good thing.... E13.gif

What do you mean by "bring"? It's not coming to the US if that's what you think.

Haha, Everyday at the bus stop. I've only heard the eurobeat remix of it, but it could be fun. I wonder how difficult Fever mode is?

Too bad Diamonds never made it.

Diamonds would need its BPM doubled, if it's from Festival. I would've really liked that song, but Konami made it too damn slow.
