Things that can go wrong-- DDR edition

Threadstopper!

Similar to a thread in Random Chat, only DDR themed.

I'll start:
You are playing versus at a friend's house on soft pads, and are kicking his butt. But you are not used to the furniture in his home. about 10 steps before getting an AA, you trip on the chair right behind you and fall. In trying to catch yourself, your hand falls on the START button.

You're playing VerTex at the arcade, trying to finally hit that 90.00% mark. You mess up a here and there along the way, and hit a mine, but 90 is still in range. You hit the speed up, and you are full comboing it! Sure enough, on the last L&R freeze jump, 90.62!!!! BOOM! 89.54 BOOM! 88.73! NOOOOO!!!

I swear I had my feet off the arrows....

Some kid is playing .59 on heavy, and you decide to piss him off. Your making fun of, untill he decides to punch you, but he trips over his own feet and falls flat on his face. You and your friend laugh all the way till you get to your car, where you realized you accidently forgot your keys inside.

You play PSMO thrice in a nonstop course to impress the onlookers with your amazing stamina. You draw a crowd of twenty people or so and get to the final run at the end only to trip on your own sweat puddle and crack your anatomy on the edge of the panel.

You play Max 300 as an extra stage, sudden death. You bet your friends you can pass it with 20 bucks. You do fine, until the last step, where you get a good.

You AAA a song (at home) but u are still very excited and go get ur camera.. You lean in real close to get the best shot, then the screen goes black all of a sudden.. "Pick a Song" it says .u look down and your knee is on the start button. No picture of your AAA

The closest arcade to you is within a 50 mile radius and the only machine there is a DDR USA Mix with broken pads.

You goto work (at a place that has DDR conveniently) and plan what techniques you're going to work on for the day once you're off. An hour before you're off work, someone calls over the radio, "Can we get an Out Of Order sign made for the DDR machine? It's not working right."

What makes this really evil is when you find out it's because people were complaining that it was eating their money and that's because the left side does exactly that but the right side slot works fine...however, your boss refuses to allow anyone to use the machine until it's fixed. Closest DDR machine from there? 45 minutes away.

So you're walking up to play some extreme and right before you get on, these 2 guys jump on the machine and imediatley put in their money. As their first song they pick PSMO. They both AA it without breaking a sweat. Their next song is TLOM. Both AAing it, making it look like a joke, they aren't even breathing hard. As their final song, they go for the extra stage, and do CSFILSM. They both AAA it and the extra stage comes. By now, they have a crowd of about 40 or 50 people. On extra stage they do Maxx... and both fail. They blaim it on reverse scroll for some stupid reason,and I slowly walk up to the machine. For my first song, I hesitated and accidentaley picked Graduation... NO!!! I got to excited and pressed that dang green button to fast! But managing to hold it down... for some odd reason. I got real excited trying to press the button really fast and accidentaley put it on stealth.

Failing very fast, everyone laughed at me and I got some ice cream and it fell on me and then I died.

You're going to your grandparents' house for Easter and decide to bring DDR along. You stick in your CD and realize you forgot to put in a memory card. When the prompt comes up ("No system data. Create?"), you click "OK" and put in your memory card afterwards. Suddenly, when the screen comes up, all the modes you unlocked (Mission Mode, Endless Mode, etc.) are erased. You soon realize that all the song scores are gone, too...all because of a memory card. Your older sister is ready to kill you and you have the worst mat in the world to play on.

You play all the songs, blah blah blah, and unlock it all again. Then, about three days later, it erases itself again after you got almost all the scores back.

you're walking towards a DDR machine and like two feets before you get there, you trip on a banana peel and sprain your ankle and can't play for 2-3 weeks.

After playing a semi-kickass set of songs, you stand next to the machine to mock other players in a self-important and condescending way. Then some fat kid leans on the other side of the machine, causing it to topple onto you, exploding shortly after. The fallen machine shatters your kneecaps, and the fire burns away all your flesh. And you die. And the DDR machine burns away beyond repair, too, so it sucks for everyone. A kind organization erects a small memorial honoring you, and the place it next to a new DDR machine, but then it spotaneously combusts because you sucked so much.

You meet this really nice and attractive girl (or boy, for the ladies) at the arcade. She works there and decides she's got to hang around late to do something for some reason, and she asks you to stay. Before you know it you guys start makin' it on the DDR pads. The next day... BAM!
