Make a folder within the "Songs" folder and drag all of the song folders into the new folder. |

I made a folder right after I downloaded SM. Is that the Stepmania or Songs Folder? _________________

A stepfile at minimum contains an audio file (MP3, etc) and a stepfile (SM, DWI, etc).
They must be contained in a folder like this:
Stepmania Root/Songs/Mix Folder/Song Folder/Song.sm
Stepmania Root/Songs/Mix Folder/Song Folder/Song.mp3
Replace Stepmania Root with C:\Program Files\Stepmania or whatever Replace Mix Folder with any folder name (usually DDR 1st Mix, Extreme, My Edits, etc)
Replace Song Folder with the name of your song (ex: FrozenRay, Pandemonium, LoM, etc)
If you just have your SM and MP3 files in the mix folder, Stepmania will not read them.
If you have your SM and MP3 files in ANOTHER FOLDER INSIDE the song folder, Stepmania will not read them.

Everything you need to know is in the readme. That's why it's called a readme.
You need to unpack .rar files for them to work. DDRUK for simfiles, but try to contribute to the community rather than just leech the files. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]
