DDR Extreme: 240 or 246 songs?

The songlists here and at aaroninjapan.com both have 240 songs. But A Google search claims there are 246 songs. Which one is it?

I'm almost positive it's 246.

The machine I most often play on freezes a lot, so I'm used to seeing it boot up.

Educated guessing going on here:

There are 240 songs with steps to them. I counted, too.

What are the other 6? They are the music for the demos and menu screens. Specifically, they are :
* beginner mode demo music
* song selection menu music
* oni/nonstop menu music
* music for high score table
* name entry music
* ending music with the song list scrolling up.

That is my guess as to why the machine says it has 246 songs loaded.

Having watched an Extreme boot up numerous times, I can confirm that the Now Loading goes up to 248.

There is an 8th, but I've only heard it on the OST.

It's the "Credit scroll song" for the designers of the game.

there are 240 songs its just they count challenge mode

example is when you switch V for extreme Heavy to V for exteme to Challenge
