There is a mod for strikethrough (we have it at a0.com), but it doesn't appear to be installed here.

Yeah, I believe the code was originally HTML. Yet, the hack or eteceters aren't installed.

the php boards in general have this ablilty

however it isnt an installed feature of the current board version / hack of DDRfreak

loog means to ask that if/when the board version gets upgraded will this be made avalible

This is *not* a standard feature of phpBB. I have a separate board of my own that runs 2.0.15, and it is not available.

That said, it's not something that'd be terribly hard to add. If any of the other bluefeet have some input...I don't mind implementing it myself. It's just a parse/replace with <strike></strike>. No messy cleanup.
