It says HOLE WRLD CAN CHNG.

I noticed that one before the Ahi SeVen one, because I'm not sure what the heck Ahi SeVen is supposed to mean. erm.gif

The name SKYE appears in the Records page as well, under Queen of Light Hard. It appears for the second time on the page with the Fitness Options screenshot (pg. 12). Must be a nickname-- I see no one named Skye in the Credits.

In the Battle Mode screenshot (pg. 14), Ryan McKanna (Step choreographer and theme/song/course graphics-person) and Jennifer Putzier (Special Thanks [Beta Tester?]) are playing. Jennifer is winning. laugh.gif

I are more bored than you. riiight.gif

Hey, wait. How can she be winning? Oh man... riiight.gif

Tetris, Panel de Pon, and now this? I just can't beat her at anything.

But just so you know, the Jennifer in that screenshot definitely is Jennifer Putzier from the Special Thanks; she helped out via beta testing, moral support, modeling* and generally being a wonderful wife. love.gif

She also moonlights as "SchizKitty", an announcer pack available for StepMania.

*she managed to sneak into two song backgrounds! See if you can find her.

Roxor putting Easter Eggs in game makes game funnered.

Somebody dismantled the game and found that the reflection map for the S grades (S-, S, S+) is a distorted map of what appears to be a dining hall. At first sight though, it looks like A SMILEY FACE.

That's the image.

(Pure coincidence though...MAYBE. I can't recall if you're supposed to distort images to conform to the model you're applying them to.)

The S-grades have what's called a "map", or an image to give them the appearance of something.

From what I see, I'm guessing the S-grades have two maps:
Reflection: Obvious and self-explanatory; it reflects something, and it rarely doesn't reflect the environment it's in. 3D models can be set to automatically reflect their surroundings themselves, or, in this case, given an image to make it appear it's reflecting something.

Specular: To summarize in one word: shinyness. 3D models can be set to shine themselves (and how intense that shine will be depends on any light sources present in their environment) or given a map that's sort of independent of needing a light source.

There's a bunch of maps you can use, like a bump map to give the illusion of height, or even an image map, to make a simple sign. They're ALWAYS used in movies, like, say, to give a Volkswagen Beetle a non-shiny, grimy, slightly glossy appearance on its body.

That "smiley" image would suit a sphere, but giving it to the S grades makes them have a streaky apperance too.

Precisely. Have a cookie: one of the courses in ITG is 1337 steps long. E10.gif

I'm sure anything else that isn't a Star/S grade is just having a simple color applied to the polygons, not an image map. Less work that way.
