Pad Problems... Need help.

I just bought a new high-density foam pad from www.hartsunlimited.com about 3 days ago for around $42.50 (with shipping fees). As of one hour ago, the right and left buttons have been acting... oddly. Sometimes, they'll work fine. Other times, the buttons won't register at all, and other times, the buttons rapid fire. The up and down buttons work fine. It makes doing songs nearly impossible. Are there any ways to correct this error so I can continue playing without problems? Thanks!

I checked out the site, and it looks like the high density foam pad you're talking about is an "Ignition" wannabe, so questions about the pad should go into the Ignition style pads thread. (See the "START HERE" thread at the top of the forum.)

As an aside, you're probably going to consistently have problems like that with any soft pad (even the Ignition style pads). Soft pads are just crappy, period. A replacement probably won't last you much longer.
