Have you have seen something in life that has reminded you of something about DDR? Please Share!

Today, I saw an advertisement thing that said "OXY" in it. It had the same font as DXY!, so it kinda reminded me of that song.

I hope this doesn't get locked because of the "OMG I Saw/Heard DDR Thread" but I can kind of see the difference.

I was riding the bus home from school on the last day, and I saw this store....it was the AAA strore!!!!!! I was like OMG!! I got a AAA Yes!!!! Yes!!!! And all my friends thought I was retarded, but it was cool and quite funny. laugh.gif

dude, theres signs outside of clubhouse and around clubhouse that say 1-800-call DDR, and its like.. designation developers company or some poopy like that.. go to ddr.com lol its what the signs are everywhere

"I was talking to my friend and while walking i ran into a kind lady"

...that would be an example of a bad pun laugh.gif . Now if you're still asking yourself what a pun is? Here it is in laymen's terms: It's when you say something in a sentance (probably a word) and you meant it for one thing... but it just soo happen to have the same type of meaning for something else. Basically it has a reverse and double meaning. See? nerd.gif

No, that's STILL not a pun. There's no sound-alike or double-meaning to that at all.

THIS is a DDR pun: two guys were at an arcade... one throws some tokens into the DDR machine, selects Challenging Mode, and immediately fails in 3 seconds. His friend says, "Why did you waste your tokens on something so difficult??" He replies, "I didn't know it would be so hard... that was the Oni time I've ever played"

Someone mentioned that an offsync song "raises a red flag in [their] book." They didn't mean to do so, and they certainly couldn't earn one in the first place. I think that qualifies as a pun. E13.gif

Yeah, I've seen those signs too. And The website is DDR.com. Way back when I first started to get into DDR, I went looking for DDR websites. The First place I went (for obvious reasons) was DDR.com. I was in quite a suprise when I found it was a contractor.

There's one of these signs right across from my arcade. That's probably the best pun on the thread (no offense to anyone else's pun).
