If I bought a brand new ITG2 machine, would it have all the songs from ITG1, and all the new songs? Or would it just have the new ITG2 songs?

Well, to be fair, nobody else that plays ITG thinks we have anywhere near "accurate" information, so I could understand him not checking there first. >.>
But yeah, that songlist is accurate, aside from difficulties and stepcharts (and a potential renaming of That Sound).

If you got an ITG2 machine, it'd have two groups. One group would be all the ITG1 songs with locked songs all unlocked for ITG2 at the beginning. The latter group, ITG2, would have all the songs except those that are locked.
VerTex^2 being one of those that are obviously locked and not available from the beginning.
