I've now put about three (very) solid months onto my CF, bare footed, without any issues. Those who want to play barefooted should not fear the CF. |

the pad will last as long as you want it to, any problem there is, you can pretty much always fix it
it has a 6 month warantee, so don't be afraid to kill it, the only thing you need to worry about is the surface you play on |

Ok, could anyone who has the "Afterburner", or has played one give me an honest opinion of what's better? I have 2 cobalt fluxes that are pretty brand new and I love them to death but I still find myself getting lost on the pads every once in a while. Especially lately since I've been learning how to play doubles. Then the afterburner came out. I know it has cheap copper foil as sensers, but how about the game play? Anyone have experience in this design of sensors? How long do they last? I know there are cbox issues with afterburner, but the ps2 works good with it I hear, and the cobalt flux only came with a ps2 plug. Also, I was thinking about a new mod for the flux instead of getting an afterburner.. Maybe get some metal plates and file them down on the edges so they would be smooth to go over the unused arrows and they could be bolted down or something. Let me know some feedback on this, and if anyone has done it yet! |

i personally don't own either pad but i would just keep the flux's ... Theres way to much trouble involved in sending them back. You'll get used to where the spaces are eventually. It make take a few months to get it down perfect but trust me its not worth returning the whole thing over. |

I believe the other connector that you plug in which then goes in to the console. _________________

256kbs-Yes people have been using PS2 to Xbox converters for a while now and really it depends on the converter on the quality of the response. There is a sticky post in the CF fourms where people list reviews of the various converters that have been used.
theblackwindsrising-In the CF fourms this has occured a bit and there is a thread already started. You might want to look at the solutions there.
Both of the threads are under the Problems/Solutions! section of the fourms.

Haha. And someone emailed CF directly and were told "should be in the store tomorrow." That was on the 27th. I will buy two as soon as they come out, but where are they? _________________
