It seems that there is no trustable (lol) metal pad for the Xbox... People complain so much about the Red Octane that its out of the question!

And I dont want to go shady-third-party-russian machinery, either.

Help?

See if you can find a PS2 to Xbox converter somewhere online. You probibaly won't be able to find them in stores.

Check Red Octane's Official Site for the converters. I haven't checked there recently but thats the only place I could find them at about 4 months ago.

Yeah, i have the same problem. I have a Madcatz soft pad and I absolutely HATE it, considering that I just got Dancing Stage Unleashed 2 and DDR Ultramix and can't play either (My Xbox is modded) simply because it slides so much. I'm so frustrated in fact, that I'm going to save up for an arcade version of DDR.

No. CFs don't work with it YET.

Yeah, I had the same issue here. I ended up getting a cobalt flux and wiring up a contoller to the pinouts on the pad.

It works well, but my god it was a doggy to do.

Why not just get a metal pad?

I saw that. But I have a question for the Xbox converter thing... When at the end, you say you Hook up the Flux, what/how do you do that?

Being a regular on the CF boards I came across a message a week or so past that might be of intrest to this thread. It was leaked that in the upcoming weeks that there will be some new items from CF. Arcade mod kits (for raised panel) and a CBox with PS2, Xbox, and USB compadability. Now I know that CF has said before that they were going to release a Xbox CBox and we ended up with empty promises. However, I just visited the web site and in the news headlines they say within the next week or so the Arcade mod will be available. So I would call that a good sign that what was leaked will happen.

Just Random Info,
Forrester

You plug the cable from the Flux into the 15 pin connector on the control box.

Why not just get a metal pad?
