No this isnt another "who lost weight from ddr" thread. What i mean by "helped" is has DDR made you see the world from a different perspective? Before DDR, i was kinda one of those people who would look at someone and say " they are wierd, i dont want to hang out with them."
But DDR taught me not to judge before i get to know the person. Its also made me more open and want to study other cultures and their beliefs and traditions. So how has DDR helped you?

I made a couple of new friends, and it has helped me with my footwork in tennis SO MUCH. People also think that I look cool when I hop around the pad on tsugaru. E4.gif

I think DDR has just made me a better person. I gives me a healthy hobby (hobby? E19.gif ) and it keeps me away from drugs. Now I sound like a commercial.

Hey -LoveRevenG-, nice signature. laugh.gif

OHHHHHH!! sry, more on topic, I've become less likely to pay attention is class... which has its ups... and its downs... laugh.gif

DDR tends to help me remember those little things that slip my mind. Many people say that they think their best thoughts in the shower; DDR does the same for me. Of course, sometimes I forget what occured to me mid-song by the time I finish...

Speakin of the shower, this is kind of stupid but I seem to sing DDR songs in the shower. They include DAIKENKAI,Drop The Bomb,Boom Boom Dollar, CSFILSM,Dan Dariram,Long Train Runnin', Super Star, Waka Laka, Cartoon Heroes. Anyone who's got a problem against memorizing lyrics ask themselves what songs from DDR are still stuck in their head.

I've lost weight, become a better dancer (as in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, modern, etc.), and found a hobby/subject to talk about.

Have a nice day! E4.gif

Let's see the physical benefits are me slimming down, improved mile time, and I have much more stamina than before. Other benefits include, learning to appreciate the variety of genres of music, having something to do that's not boring, having something to talk about, and I can be the center of attension without wetting myself or going stupid or rolling on the floor or running into something or...

Listen to it so many times you would rather kill yourself than hear it again. Oh, and thats both the japanese AND english lyrics. E4.gif
Luckily it's one of my favorite songs so suicide wasn't an option. It was the first song I ever played so it had SOME sort of impact on my tastes. Yes it's sort of repetitive but it is one of those songs you either love or hate.

I haven't even looked at the English lyrics yet, but I understand enough of it that it makes absolutely no sense. A whole part of the song is a giant math problem that has absolutely no purpose. If somebody sang that in English... laugh.gif

EDIT: I went to look up lyrics, and it was confirmed that, yes, it makes no sense at all.

DDR has gotten me in better shape(slightly), helped my other sports and helped me listen to more than the apparent melody in a song. im not a very musical person so this helped a tooooooon in my music class, cuz im now so used to hearing the underlying beat to the song.

my girlfriend is always telling me how much she loves DDR because of what its done to my legs... she gropes them constantly.
but thannks to DDR, i've become a relatively in-shape type person, good stamina, muscular legs (i guess) plus i get to say i can own just about anyone in town.
kickass.
