Hello everyone,

After being unable to find a PS Joy adapter, I read around and it seemed like the next best choice currently available is the EMS USB2 adatper. Just got it today and hooked it up and it works FLAWLESSLY with StepMania! I could not be more impressed, especially with a price of $15 and allows you to hook up two DDR pads! Driver install is easy and once installed it is plug-and-play. StepMania even automatically recognized the directional buttons for each pad and all one has to change in config is pick with pad button you want to use for "enter" and "back/escape".

So, from my new experience, this is a great adapter for use with basic DDR pads. I don't have one with LED's to double-check with those.

Just wanted to share my experiences.

Cheers,
Tom

I own a Super Dual Box, and that works flawlessly as well (you need to enter the Up+Start+Select code, but its no big hassle).

Also, maybe post that here:

Hmm, that's interesting. EMS must have improved the USB2 adapter since I bought it, because I had one of those a while ago and had all kinds of weird problems with it. Mine didn't like to work unless I had two controllers plugged in, for example. o_O
