Yep, there are plenty of pads out there that have 8 arrows, metal and soft alike. My Ignition knockoffs have 8, for example, and GameEnhancer, for example, sells 8-arrow metal pads. Why 8? I really don't know. No version of DDR has ever supported 8 arrows, can't use it on Pump it Up because there's no center panel, and there have only been a couple of games in general that support 8 arrow play, and they're arcade only to my knowledge. I guess since the other two buttons are action buttons and not directional buttons, you could use them to try playing games other than DDR with your pad or something. *Shrug* |

Yea My CF has 9 buttons to support PIU and DDR | Techno motion has 9 panels, yes, but you never use all of them at one time. There is 4 panel mode (DDR), 5 panel mode (PIU) and 8 panel mode (all of the outter and no center). _________________

Arcade. I've only seen it once personally. The Excalibur in Las Vegas had one. _________________

The name of the game is "Dance: UK", and no, it was not released outside of the EU. _________________
