I wish by infected mushroom. perfect psy trance that would have to be a 9-10 footer to qualify, cuz its an awesome song and cuz its got a lot of techno effects. its one of the only songs by infected mushroom that i can spell but anythings good!
i heard a rumour that theres going to be a new release of ddr with a bunch of really trancy songs on it. anyone know if this is true?
id also like to see more dj mystik titles on there. for those who dont know moonlight shadow, butterfly, and a few more songs that have made-up artist names were originally done by dj mystik. MOONLIGHT SHADOW IS BLOODY AWESOME! |

yes sry i edited the post right when u said that.
missing heart is the lisenced artist name for the edited version of moonlight shadow that was originally done by dj mystik. you can find a lot of his music on kazaa/slsk and im sure he has albums or something.
im not absolutely sure but the very first version of moonlight shadow was done by a techno group called groove coverage. thats the earliest version ive found. but hey ordinary world was originally by duran duran which isnt anything like aurora's version so who knows? |

im a trance nerd and i think ddr doesnt have much of that specific genre because its hard to make fun steps for it. it usually has to be on a hard difficulty cuz of all the multiple sound effects and such. it would be great to see some REAL trance on ddr tho.
another issue with a lot of techno in general is that its too long and is hard to edit (*cough cough* sandstorm *cough*), so yeah its a handful. |

No way! It's pretty easy to take a radio edit and take one verse, which is what has been done with Ordinary World, Heaven, etc.

Also, you shouldn't call yourself a nerd for liking trance music. It's my favorite type of music and I don't consider myself a nerd. You've got to have confidence in your taste! (Sorry if I'm sounding a bit preachy)

No.  Rap sucks and it's probably one of the least favorite music genres of DDR. Also, it has to be edited and no rapper today would allow their song(s) to be put in a game like DDR anyway.

I disagree, rap wouldn't make very good dance music, imo. Unless you're talking about Missy Elliott, whom makes the occasional danceable track (see "Pass That Dutch").

Pigs can't fly... but rap has made it into DDR a couple times. However it wasn't mainstream rap and there wasn't really much actual rapping in it anyway...

One song I would like to hear on DDR would be We Like To Party by Vengaboys. I think it's a great song and would be fun to have a few turns and what not in the steps. Um, another song is I Will Survive by Cake. Even though the song isn't the greatest, there could be an awsome stream. I'm more into rock but I like fun songs to play on DDR such as Kick the Can, Jane Jana, Jet World, Kind Lady, Burning Heat, Witch Doctor, most of Capt. Jack's songs, and a lot more.
