What's on your feet while playing DDR?

I have been looking for the perfect shoes to wear for DDR for all of you people out there, And I have found 'em. If you are playing serious DDR you hafta wear Magnum 6 inch combat boots. These are THE most comfortable shoes to wear and your feet won't feel anything untill you get to your 100th song on heavy, believe me, i have played that much on every kind of shoe. most of them wear your feet out after the 20th song, combat boots were meant for long distance running with full pack, they are supposed to keep your feet nice and comfy until you reach your waypoint, so that means that they are built for continuous pounding of your feet. I can play for hours with my magnum's on, and i never get tired with em, so if you want the best, dish out $50 and buy magnum 6 inch combat boots, its the best investment you can make

I wear shoes whiole I am playing DDR. I think everyone plays with shoes. Am I right?Jusr kidding. I play with DC shoes. The raeson why is cause I am cool. Just playing.

What's on my feet? NOTHING!
Socks, and I play on a concrete floor with a 20 dollar softpad. I play challenge and heavy (which probably means nothing to you cuz you're all pros) and my heels are KILLING ME! I play in my garage, so I wondered to myself if buying a hardpad would be worth it... So I am going to purchase one, and play in shoes... hopefully that will feel better!

Athletic shoes? forget it. For me, its my old trusty pair of worn out Chuck Taylor Converse w/checkerboard shoelaces woot!

But as for playing at home, I use plain socks, my bare feet kinda "stick" to my pad and I can't do it as fast

I'm not a professional player yet, but I use regular shoes at the arcade, and I play barefoot at home.

many a crappy soft pad have been dismembered by shoes, not to let mine fret i play with sox, or is it socks?

it doesnt matter what shoes u wear for ddr really i dont think as long as its not some big combat boots or something like that

I highly recommend the Frank Taylor All-Star Converse Sneakers! I play with them all the time now. I did experiment with the Black/White Nike Hirachi sneakers. It squeaked a lot! Then with Black/Red Deisels. You are practically barefoot. There is no sole in the shoes!
The FT all-star converses are the way to go!!!

Lately I've been using a pair of New Balance. These are even more comfortable than the skate shoes I was using before (a pair of checkered Vans slip-ons).

i just wear my G Units or my Birdman Lugz #1 Stunnas in the arcade I put insoles in my Stunnas so they r better than the G units, at home I play barefoot, sometimes i play in my socks at the arcade if nobody is around (i have stinky feet)

nya~ i wear my vans @ the arcade. and sometimes on my mat at home. they are sooo comfy. never hurt my feet...even when i play heavy ^ ^... *horrible @ddr*
