It's been half a year since I started and I just turned 18 march 30. I was then yelled at by my mom saying I'm getting too old for this baby s***. So I'm wondering, how old is really too old to play DDR? E19.gif

There is no too old, it's great to continue to do as you get older, I would assume, because it will keep you in great shape. There's currently a 47 yearold member here at DDRFreak.

Your mom is a very angry, hostile person who needs to figure out why there's no joy in her life.

I'd say a decent majority of DDR players are 18 or older.

For some reason this reminds me, on the DM/GF V machines (the one in my arcade anyway), there's a sticker thing above the screen Titled: CAUTION, and one of the things it says was you shouldn't play DM V if you are pregnant. ... I guess that goes for DDR too. And, if you're like 70 or something, I don't think you should play PSMO. Stuff like Butterfly or LTBHE are still all right though probably hehe.

You are too old when you break a hip stepping onto the pad.

Or your bonesjust aren't strong enough.

When arthritis and diaper rash become your life's major concerns, you're probably getting too old for DDR.

Your mom is close-minded. I suppose an "adult" hobby like sitting around staring at a football game on TV, trying to hit a little ball into a hole, getting drunk or wife-beating are preferable.

I turn 30 this year. So does my wife. We both love DDR.

Hey! I resemble that remark! (g)
Actually I'm 48 going on 49 and love DDR even tho' most of you youngsters could step rings around me. E1.gif I'm lucky to pass songs on LIGHT at the arcade, but it's still loads of fun, and I work out on my Cobalt Fluxes every other day.

Well I don't think there is a certain age you have to stop or being playing DDR. If you want to play than go for it. But if you are very old than there can be some downfalls in playing DDR. You might brake a leg. But you guys get what I mean. Right? E1.gif
