Quite a few years back I saw DDR in an arcade and was intrigued. My friends that I was with at the time were like, "OMG they have DDR" and they showed me how to play. After that I didn't play for a long time until about 4 months ago when my friend Jason got his pad, xbox, and copy of DDR Ultramix 2 and initiated me into the world of DDR. Now he and I and a few of our other friends get together to play DDR.

My situation is all up to speculation.

I started around December of 2004 and I don't really know why. My friends theorize that it's because we no longer have a Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 machine nearby for me to crush people on and that I'm so competitive that I had to have a new game to try and be better at than everyone...but I don't agree on that because I actually don't try to be better than anyone other than myself when I play DDR...I like watching others dance on Standard or Heavy anytime and I have no desire to try and show them up...I just want to have fun, I guess. E10.gif

Anyway, I guess that means I got myself into it.

About a year ago now, at an arcade while on vacation. I had seen DDR before, but on that fateful day I saw a small girl (about 11-12) tearing up the freaking machine with her godly skills. It intrigued me, and I decided to play. I made an buttocks of myself on Light, but resolved to improve. And so on and so forth.

One when MAX2 for PS2 came out I went to my local Gamecrazy and they were having a beginners tournament. The rules were simple. Play on light, highest score after playing 3 songs wins. You game over, you were out. Mind you I had no idea what it was until I went on. I played I was the one as the first, The Whistle Song as second and BREAK DOWN! as final. I won and got a cheap pad and MAX2 as a prize and I was hooked ever since. E4.gif
