Started DDR a little late?

(I know someone of you, how should i say,....ill-tempered people are roaming around in these forums, so if you really dont care about this, dont try to say anything unnecessary so we dont start anything, please? If the topic is bad, the mods can take care of it)

How many of you people out there are mad because you just started playing DDR after Extreme came out?

It still makes me mad that started playing DDR when Extreme came out. Its like theres nothing to look forward to in DDR. I would have had more fun if i knew about it when 5th mix came out or something

I started playing DDR this year, but I've played a few of the older mixes and I think they suck. I can't see what people like in them.

Yes I have and I see that it might be killed off... But then again there is BM. Why can' they just have it stay! DDR is so freakin popular that half the kids in my school tried playing! They suck more than I did when I played a year ago but still!

I started 4 - 5 years ago, so I wouldn't know, but it probably would be annoying not to have experienced previous WONDERFUL mixes.

Yeah, I definitely started playing after Extreme came out. I've played a few of the earlier mixes when I've been able to find them, and they don't seem that bad to me-- I'm actually a big fan of 5th mix. But then again, everyone before me played them until they became boring, so...

I just started playing almost three months ago. It's really nice when I hear a new song that I like. (Afronova. I nearly spazzed the first time I heard it. It rocks my proverbial boxers.)

I started DDR back in the days of 3rd Mix...but the only problem was that when we finally got an arcade mix over in our town, all the good older mixes had passed by. We were lucky to get a 3rd Mix machine, which was awesome, but sadly, then DDRMAX2 came out and my arcade skipped straight over 4th and 5th mixes to go straight to DDRMAX2. Which sucked.

I really wanted a 5th Mix in our arcade.

I've kind of been wishing lately that I had started DDR back in 2001. People had a lot more fun with it back then, and I'd probably have at least 70 or so AAA's too.

It makes me sad that I came into the game as it very first started dying.

The first song I ever played was "butterfly" and that was a while ago. I just started playing again with Extreme and enjoy the older songs with stepmania. I don't go to the arcade that much

i'm not too mad because i'v played the important mixes and for the most part the new songs in the console versions suck, so there really is nothing to look forward to, even if a new mix comes out

i started w/ konamix wehn that first came out. so i had a chance to play on a few max 2's before the ZOMG ETREME RUSH came. there used to be a 3rd mix that'd id frequent until about a year ago

Well, I've only been playing about 3 years or so (I think?)

I started on an old 3rd Mix Kv2. Loved it. Then I started going other places that had other mixes. I ended up dating someone who took me on a 3 hour drive just to play 5th Mix (which I fell in love with) and Para Para Paradise (God why can't we have more of those??). Needless to say, I still play DDR whenever I can, but my main arcade just switched to ITG (In The Groove). It's a lot of fun, but could never replace DDR to me. Same layout though, so I guess I kinda get to play new songs on DDR, but that's just my silly thinking ways.

P.S. - If Phrek sees this post - dang boy! I'm surprised you're still here! You probably don't remember me though.
