my girlfriend plays DDR she thought for the longest time it was evil..she wouldn't even touch a pad...she still ain't great yet..soon she'll be fricken beating on the account shes smaller and moves ahell of alot faster

my girlfriend thought i was a nerd originally for playing ddr, but she soon gained interest. she can pass almost every song with a controller on the ps2, and is on standard with a soft pad. she is still very reluctant to try the arcade though. im working on her still...

My only problem with the goth chicks is that I've seen so many responsible for breaking/wearing sensors in pads with their really high heel boots, (At least where I play) those combined with stomping have actually worn pads out in the course of a day.

Blah blah blah. I'm too lazy to read 13 pages of comments, but my two cents.

I met my boyfriend over two years ago at an arcade, through DDR. We're at a decently equal level at it, and we dont argue over it (except when he tells me to play it more so I can get some exercise...no I'm not fat. >_< )

He also introduced me to Drum Mania (which is incredibly crazy awesome at) and because of it, I'm pretty much the only girl that plays Drum Mania where I live on a regular basis (or enough to actually beat songs on Extreme).

Blah blah blah ... conclusion. We love eachother very much, have never argued over anything bemani related, have great times at the arcade...aaand lost my train of thought but I think you get the point.
