DDR got all the kids at school to tell me daily "Is that all you ever do with your life?".
I made a lot of arcade friends, and I toned out my calf muscles.
The best thing is, the boyfriend I made from it.

For me, all the people I know think I'm a nerd, gay, and have a social disorder for playing DDR. Strangers, on the other hand, just compliment me and feel so impressed that I play so well. NEGATIVE!! That is the exact same situation for me! I was already almost a social outcast, but DDR made it worse. I still play every chance I get and still love it.

Some of my friends play it, others call it Virtual Hop Skotch. No one really makes fun of me though after getting a look at my well toned legs. ^_-

i don't usually mention that i play ddr. i don't exactly try to avoid the subject, but i don't start it either. besides that, since there's like 7 or 8 other DDR players that go to the arcade on 10-bucks-for-unlimited-play night (to play like 2 games and then go to fuddruckers), it doesn't really matter to me. anyome who finds out that i play ddr either hears it from someone else (i'm the ONLY true ddr player at my school), sees me play, or brings the subject up themselves. besides, anyone who's just like "H4Y G1Z3!!1 I P4LY D1DD3R!11!!!11" needs to be slapped upside the head multiple times

Wow, why are players so arrogant about this shit? Why the fuck would you think we care? What are you trying to compensate for on a DDR message board of all things? Some of you people annoy the hell out of me, seriously.
My own experience is that this game got me into dance and helped me meet a bunch of new faces - whoop dee woo. That's about as much as I need to say. Look up the word "modesty", people. God damn.
