I went to an arcade one night with a friend, and after about half an hour of convincing, he got me on the machine. This was back in February.

i was at the BNG's club of windsor and they had the game. i was diying to try it out so i did, the first song just happen to be max300..i think, one of the maxes i know, i got buttocks-raped so bad, from there i worked my way up.......

My first time wasn't too long ago, i've only been playing about a month and a half or so, but it was in an arcade area at a movie theater near the Lycoming mall in PA. Me and some people were waiting for a movie to start and were bored out of our minds, and there wasnt much of a selection of arcade games. So we jumped on a DDR machine as a joke. After we were done, 2 guys got on the machine and started doing heavy right after we had made asses of ourselves on it, i was amazed needless to say. I haven't stopped playing since.

i can't remember when was the 1st time but it was before it came out in America and my cousin went to China and got it. i played it before it was in America. but I got hooked my my other cousin on Christmas in 2004. Bre s her nickname. and in Wisconsin.

I don't remember when exactly, but there was a debate on another message board (Azure Heights I believe it was) about whether DDR was a good form of excercise. I checked out some information about it and a few years later I began playing.

ok. so, i saw Jerome Bettis from the Pittsburgh Steelers playing it on TV against Antwaan Randle El (also on Steelers) and ever since i saw them play i was like whooooa that game looks sweet! hahah it was a couple months ago

I got myself into it. It was a couple of months ago. I was at the arcade and these two girls were playing on heavy. When they finished, I was like,"Psh, I could do that." Then, when I got the pads, I came to my senses and played on light. I got an A, and I kept playing since. One guy on another forum I go to introduced me to stepmania, and now, I got the whole thing set up at my house.
