well this is something we've noticed about when people are playing DDR they almost all fall into one of a few categories

The Newbie- high leg lifts and stomps what more can be said

The Fighter: arms normally up to chest either with the hands clenched or open kinda like they are gonna kick your buttocks

The Bird: i see this one alot- person swings their arms back when they are changing direction or just randomly

The Gorilla- persons arm go everywhere while they play((seen alot on doubles play))

The corpse= the body doesn't move at ll the feet only move

_________- normally calm style of playing with hands held behind back or in pockets

i know i'm forgetting some
so tell me what style you play or suggest another style

The only "style" I gave a name to was my ex's, Popeye dancing. The elbows up and the hands in a fist both in front of your chest, they move back and forth usually out of beat to the song.

I only move whatever prevents me from falling and that's usually my feet only. If I almost fall I punish myself by getting an "E-unit" on purpose

How could you forget the T-Rex stance? Arms high, bent, and close to the chest with curl-fingered hands. Not mention the Cowboy, in which the hands stay down to the side, while the index and thumb of each hand make the shape of a gun.

Is that the same as the skiing style where the bent arms go back and forward (as seen in the Reflex vs. JSB LOM video)?

It would be funnier if it didn't have massive horizontal scroll.

No peanuts dance? When someone kinda looks away from the screen, usually up while doing 8th note steps on left and up and then up and right (rotating hips rather than crossover) It looks like the dance snoopy does in the old peanuts cartoons.

that's only on the first page. it's an old article, so it has some formatting flaws.

Nope. Fists in front of your chest and your arms moving side to side.

I'm sorry, but you cannot play DDR and not look like an asshat.

Sad, but true.
