Stature problems...

Me and my brother are very much into ddr, however, it seems that since I have longer legs i can quickly move, and beat songs on heavy, and he, with he short legs, can barely get past light. We know it is not an arrow processing problem, he just cant reach that far that fast!!! Are there any other players who have problems with being unable to reach the arrows on opposite sides??

I don't think it is his leg length is the problem... maybe it is because he needs to get used to the size of the pad. I have short legs also, but that doesn't prevent me from playing well. I still have problems using the bar because I can barely reach the up arrow from there, but your brother should just practice standing in different positions on the pad.

Another way is to have him stay a bit closer to the middle--to use the inner corners of the pad. That way he doesn't have to move as much.

hmmm....long ago i had the same problome. my legs were to short and i played at the arcades on begginer and got made fun of, but then my legs grew longer and boom, im an expert. i advise you(or was it your little brother?) to wait till they get longer or play on the controler to memorise the songs then he will get good. hope that helped. piece
