i would say i got some of the best shoes for the arcade. NIKE PRESTOS. they're meant for free running so they grip nice , abosrb everything, and are really light. and by light i mean lighter than you're mp3 player light.

i tried converse allstars (the high top ones) and they were really light and grippy, and i could feel the pad great through them. like playing shoeless without scratching your feet.

i usually use old no-name brand because theyre broken in and have this awesome razor-cut tread that grips to anything even walls. dont deny it.

and just a little bit of spray-n-wash.

My new Black and Silver Low-top Nike Shocks...
It's a running type of a shoe but is very cormfortable and has a hell of a strong grip....

But I've have only one what sneaker-type is the best while playing DDR?

at home, i usually play in socks.

at the arcade, adidas superstar ii's. they're good if you pick up your feet because they're wicked comfortable, but if you slide your feet alot on the arrows, you'll kill your ears.

Personally i use a pair of Etnies. black on black baby.

however when ever i go i see all the better players in Chucks. this may be coincidence, but its really freakin me out. i have asked my parents to buy me a pair but they're not very enthused.
