|
|
I downloaded the whole set of 7th mix songs, but I noticed a few didn't show up at the song selection screen. I could play one of them as extra stage sometimes, but I could never acess them normally. Its those songs that only have challenge as a difficulty, like b4u b4za beat, wild rush from nonstop megamix, tsugaru apple mix blah blah. Is there any way to fix this, besides using stepmania? I hate stepmania. |

Stepmania is better.
Use Stepmania.
Problem Solved
I remember having the same problem like a year and half ago when I first started with simfiles and used DWI... |

Yes I do. But because stepmania was installed on the administrator account on my computer (my dads), in order to add new songs, I have to keep asking him to come down and log in his account so i can get to the right folders. |

Add "/showsm" to the command line of DWI. Any song with just Smaniac (or Challenge/Oni) steps will appear as normal. Problem solved. |

Criminy, I can't stand people like you who answer questions about DWI with "lol stepmania is better, use that instead!!!11!!1"
He said he hates StepMania. Keep your repulsive StepMania fanboyism to yourself and answer the question properly, or don't answer it at all. Nobody wants to hear your mindless StepMania advertising. _________________

Irrational ANTI-Stepmania fanboyism isn't all that attractive either. |

I wasn't being anti-StepMania. I was being anti-fanboyism in general. Answering a question about DWI with "GO GET SM LOL" is arrogant and dumb. It would be the exact same as if someone asked about SM and someone said "GO GET DWI LOL".

Kevontay, here's what you need to do:
1. Create a shortcut to the DWI2.exe file on your desktop (if you haven't already). You can do this by right-clicking the file and selecting "Create Shortcut".
2. Locate the shortcut you just made, and right-click on it.
3. Select "Properties".
4. Select the "Shortcut" tab.
5. Locate the "Target" text box. It should currently say something like:
"C:\Program Files\DWI\DWI2.exe"
Add the command line "/showsm" to this text, so that the text in the Target box reads:
"C:\Program Files\DWI\DWI2.exe" /showsm
6. Click the Apply button, and click OK. Now all you have to do is run DWI from this shortcut from now on.
To learn more about other DWI command lines you can use, consult the DWI readme. _________________

I didn't mean you... I meant the guy who said he hated stepmania, for no apparent reason. |

lol. this is why you get your own computer, or at least learn how to set up your own admin account. Do you have a floppy drive? P.M. me and I might be able to help you get by that little problem |
