What do people do while playing DDR that really angers you?

-i hate it when people try to push you so you lose balance (although if you end up passing the song afterwards, you get a sense of great accomplishment along with the urge to beat whoever the hell just pushed you)

-people who try to "help" (the word should be "annoy")

-this isnt exactly as big a deal at the arcades, but it's done: people who "accidentally" do heavy when they really cant do anything and they just start rolling around on the pad like they're having a seizure.

-people who can only pass songs when holding onto the bar for dear life.

-people who try to converse with you as you're playing. especially young eight year old girls at a birthday party, who cant keep their grimy little fingers off of the screen and say "i bet you'll miss that one!"

i'm steaming with anger just thinking about this.

if it was me i'd knock their buttocks out, that sux for you guys, although hearing your stories, ie i shoved them...rather hard...is a pretty funny read

and I hate it when parents allow their little 3 year olds to run onto the pad while you're playing, then get ticked off when you inadvertantly knock them over while playing HVAM

when people clap or whatever to try to help you get the beat but instead it just messes u up, pushing or shoving, and when ppl disobey the coin line. ya, that sums it up.

Shadowing pisses me off. Even today in our DDR club, some jackass was "shadowing" behind me while I was playing V Oni. The kid was stomping as loud as Sin (and the fact that our club is in a room with no carpet and no sound absorbtion didn't help). When he gets up to play, he plays Love Love Sugar on light and fails. *sigh*

Yeah..all the above..the sweat, shadowing, token theifs, line cutters..but what I dont understand is "the bar". Its there to grab onto if u begin to fall, not hold onto the whole song. If u cant play a song without holding the bar maybe u should try air hockey or tekken 5.

Well, may be some repeats, but hey, GOTTA have a say in this.
1)A newb(respectable new player)playing a song, and then next a regular walking up and freestyling that song just to rub it in the newb's face
2)People who think my coin in the coinline is a nice little gift
3)People who think that stomping AS HARD AS POSSIBLE on the pad makes them better
4)People who play on beginner and act like they're the poopy
5)People trying to tell you how to play, and how to freestyle
6)People physically choosing my song, without my consent
7)When playing with someone, they pick all the songs
8)Shadowing on the side of the machine, and sucking
9)People, while I'm busting my buttocks on Max 300, pressing my arrows and talking to me
10)Someone who smokes near you while you are playing

tonight i was at my local arcade. im playing LoM with this other person. Then this kid comes up and ask if his girl can play. i said shure, when im done with this song. he didnt like this answer, so he decided to start porring water all over the pad.
Thats what i hate most; stupid people that think they can do what ever they want.

Mostly everything everyone has mentioned to a lesser exent. But what really really pisses me off is when people shadow me when I'm playing Oni Mode. I could care less about people shadowing me while I'm playing normally, but I get completely off rhythm when someone shadows me on oni mode.

some newbs dont understand the coin line rule. i sure didn't until i met this site. not everyone goes to this site ya know.

ive read alot of complaining about children, ive had kids jump on the pad and start up too, but i am a sucker for little children and i am such a kid person, that if a parent asked me to teach their child how to play, i probaly would(if they asked nicely and their kids were not little snots)the deal with some children is they just want to have fun too, they see somethign cool and fun, they want to have fun too. i have a 6,5,and 2 yr old cousins, and i just let them play on home console. imagine a 2 yr old playing...he is so goofy, the 5 yr old can hit the steps, but is a little slow, and the 6 yr old does an odd freestyle. sometimes kids just have to be kids. however, they should know better then to step on the pad when someone else is playing. and bad parents piss me off, and so do snotty kids, so i do have my limits I guess.

Moral of the story: Kids will be kids, but its ok to tell the parents to **** off if they tell you OH you should have been more careful!
and newbs will be newbs.

Also, EVERY time someone I don't know starts talking to me at any time that I'm at the arcade, they end up being the most annoying and clingy person.

It really irks me when people stomp on the dance pads or do this weird marching kind of thing when they play. *Shudders* I've also had a kid throw an arcade basketball at me when I was playing.

Top 3 things I hate.

1. When someone is choosing a song and presses start before I can say hold on let me use some mods.

2. I HATE it when someone talked to me when I play. I really hate it when I'm playing someone and there loosing then the start talking to me hoping that it was mess me up.

3. I dont like it when I'm playing and some kid just walks up and either walks on the metal pad or some kid starts to shadow me.
